RE:FATWA
by Sunny Armageddon on Dec 20, 2007 12:38 PM  Permalink
Well actually no fatwa is required. It is stated very clearly and repeatedly in the Islamic code of conduct that " Stop, O people, that I may give you ten rules for your guidance in the battlefield. Do not commit treachery or deviate from the right path. You must not mutilate dead bodies. Neither kill a child, nor a woman, nor an aged man. Bring no harm to the trees, nor burn them with fire, especially those which are fruitful. Slay not any of the enemy's flock, save for your food. You are likely to pass by people who have devoted their lives to monastic services; leave them alone." So those terrorists who kill innocents are just terrorists with maybe a muslim name and should be shot or hanged for harming innocents.

Gandhian solution to the problem in Kashmir
by Vishvaksenah E on Dec 20, 2007 12:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I fully sympathise with Sri Lalit Koul.
To set the matters right, he can follow the Gandhian technique .Let all the Kashmiri Hindus become Muslims. Our beloved Mohammedan brothers will welcome them and they can regain all their property in SriNagar.
The Kashmiri Hindus should not have left Srinagar during the ethnic cleansing in 1980s and 1990s.Instead they should have remained there and allowed the beloved Mohammedan brothers to do what they please.
Non-violence is the solution to all such problems when dealing with the beloved Mohammedan brothers.

Long live secularism!Long live Gandhigiri !

Mr. Lalit, really this is a bitter truth.until we keep voting to congress, this situation will never change. All jounalists had also started thinking like pseudo-secularists.And people have forgotten about the 400000 kashmiri hindus, that were killed. Now the 1984 riots case has been opened again, but we all know that the great congress leaders who provoked the killings will be very safe.Nobody cud do any harm to them. Our country is in such a pathetic condition. This is a country where muslims & cristians can flourish. No rights for hindus.

Mr. Lalit Koul, we are with you, let us file a case in Supreme Court...
by Demo-crazy on Dec 20, 2007 12:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr Lalit Koul, we feel ashamed of what has been done to our own brethern in Kashmir. Unfortunately, there is a majority of cowards in this nation, and hence ruled by evil politicians.

Why don't we take this up in Supreme Court of India. The point you make about cleansing of 400000 Hindu Pandits is so important, that we cannot let the politicians responsible for this to go scot free.

I am willing to contribute to such an effort. Can't we get one good lawyer to represent us and pull up the Government of India and State Government of J&K and make them accountable?

You sound pessimistic about the media, when you say - " I guess gone are the days when journalists used to stand up against injustice and fight for the rights of ALL human beings, irrespective of the religion they belonged to. These days, it seems they get their stories handed over to them by their politician masters who only care about their kursi and 'votes' that get them that kursi. After all, it is a kissa kursi ka."

We, the Indian citizens, will not let this go on like this. Let us fight it with lawful means.

If a Tytler can be reinvestigated after 23 years of a crime, why not the on-going tragedy of Kashmiri Hindus? I have not lost hope in Supreme Court. It will do justice.

I earnestly request all those like minded citizens to contact you be email and then initiate some action against the government apathy.

You seem to have commented without reading my post. I am against all violent acts irrespective of who does it. I feel shattered when educated people like you seem to take such partisan views - treat the tragedies of Hindus on par with those Muslims. That's all we want to say.

Treat all Indians as equals. No majority, no minority...

This is not activism. This is about deadly silence on a tragedy of an unparalleled scale.

The courts have taken more routine stuff in their activism zeal, while ignoring matters of life and death of such a large number.

Let us force it on them, the court, the media, the politicians, the government - let them say NO. We will then respond in an appropriate manner so that they listen.
