RE:Lalit Koul's Biased Views
by Demo-crazy on Dec 20, 2007 10:53 PM  Permalink
You make allegations without substantiating them. Where is the proof specifically for your point (2) and (3).

In my understanding, the killing of Pandits happen because they are educated class that competes with the Muslims. Beggars, probably may not.

If you know pretty well why Pandits ran away, please state it for the benefit of all.

At some place, I saw one gentleman commenting 'we converted to Muslim, why are you concerned' - kind of line. Primarily, most of the conversions took place centuries ago, when the external aggressors offered either death or life if converted. We have nothing against them, because we know, you are our own brethern. But, tell me, why this hatred against us?

There should be a white paper on the reasons that compelled the Pandits to leave. Unfortunately, both Indian agencies and self styled leaders of the Pandit community never demand it. The reasons given to Indian public for consumption are different than realities. Demand the White paper and let us all get enlightened.

I believe all minorities have unfounded fears. They become sensitive to small provocations. The Pandit community was used by the right wing leaders for their vested interests. The history of Kashmir was witness to how their Muslim neighbors protected the property and dignity of Pandits during partition when Punjab witnessed the brutality of Muslims getting killed by Hindus and Sikhs.
As a Kashmiri I want to know the truth also. However, I know people like Lalit Koul spin the facts, sell emotions and do not want the truth to come out.

Lassajoo, your views appear to be just cut and paste from some ISI propaganda piece:

1. Absolute Lie, there arent any Hindu beggars in place you mentioned.
2. Another big lie. It is the rich elite Kashmiri muslims who have bankrupted the state treasury . Kashmiri Pundits dont get even one salary and maybe you can talk about the ISI supporting among Kashmiri Muslims who get 4 salaries (from ISI, pak Govt, Indian Govt and Kashmir Govt).
3. You are truly out of mind.... anyway most of real estate in big indian cities is owned by big companies that are funded by Gulf Rulers (who are all Moslems)
4. Social Boycott? Outside Gujarat, this is not the case... See how many moslems in Bollywood, Cricket Team, Politics... btw when was last time your Kashmir state accepted a Hindu as a CM?

Pandits ran away because your people were ready to do a genocide act and they just escaped otherwise they would have become like Germany's Jews.

You are not a kashmiri so you do not know the facts. Truth is bitter. Go to streets of Srinagar. All beggars are Indian Hindus. Check the facts about workers even in agricultural fields, these guys are also Hindus from India. Check the maids; again Hindus from India.

Both Indian and Pakistani agencies ruined India. Muslims treated pandits with utmost respect and continue to do so despite the betrayal. Ask those pandits who come to Kashmir on Kheer Bhawani or Amarnath Yatra. Anyway, read the story on Greater Kashmir November 25, 2007 about a pandit family who wnted to return to their home. It is Indian military that is refusing to pay him compensation or vacate his property. You can make up your mind if you are a thinking Indian.

Lassjoo why will the muslims of Kashmir Beg. They have all the money in the world. On one side they get tons of money from the terror funding, on other side they suck India on all sides. Otherwise is there any other logic for a people in province like Kashmir to have money when they are bankurpt, don't have surplus food, electricity, no industires and depend on rest of Country for everything.

Raja,

Why should anyone leave their motherland? Why not say, we will fight for our rights and change things here.

Do you think any country like USA will silently accept the exodus of cowards? Always might is respected. Always truth and justice are respected, but never a person who runs away from the problems.

We must counter the wrong doers at every opportunity.

Until we get rid of this habit of blaming others, we will continue to live like slaves or cowards in our own country.

Kick the politicians, kick the administrators in to action.

No Commitment.. No Progeress...
by youngindia on Dec 20, 2007 03:10 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I personally feel that there is no morality left in the Politicans. All they are interested are Issues that will give them political milage. So it does not matter for them if it is Hindu deaths in Kashmir or Muslim deaths in Gujarat. No wonder the author got a shock from MHA reg. Justice to the victims.

The govt. is not even bothered to give the Kashmiri Pandits proper homes to live. Where are the Welfare schemes proposed by the government???

As long as we have the Dynastic Rule of the Gandy Family (with exception of Nehru) who are hell bent on ruling India like the the British and the current Ruler who is Italian and nurturing her children as future rulers with a impotent PM and President who take permission for everything they do from her with the national security gone for a toss and the neighbouring countries slowly encroching our borders.

The Army is helpless and is tied in the Bureaucratic process and sacrificing young indian soldiers at the borders with lip sympathy services on aug15th and jan26th.

So all i can say is God save the Indian Public irrepecive of their Religion from all the evils around them.

The last line on Chinkara is very emotional, and makes one cry at the fate of Kashmiri Pandits in this land of 80 crore Hindus. Shame on all of us.
