WELL its good to hear for us indians that we test fired another missile....yes we shud be proud..but has anyone thought what actually it takes to test fire a missile (after so many hours of hard work)....and wat it takes to properly implement that missile in the defence forces and produce it on a scale so it comes to need at times of war etc etc....
india has all the resources to do it..but we are still not capable of producing missile on a large scale and also to implement it in forces preperly....so chill out guys .... those who are saying we shud stop brain drain. and work here in india...and other bla bla bla......the main thing is there are people who want to work in india and that too not at high salaries..but still dont get opportunity to work there....

no i.a.s officer from bottom to top rank wants that salary of engineers,doctors and scientists shall be higher then them.they are the uncrowned king in india.our leaders are not up to the mark.solely our leaders depend on them for scams.even army officers who lay their lives for the country should draw less salary then them.many able people don't want to join defence forces.i do not think that any time in future the second rate persons in army can defend this country.no i.a.s officer shall be appointed on civilian duty unless he has gone training under defence forces.most of the bureacrats are highly corrupt.news papers are full of their stories.these missile technology is out dated.america,russia,france,even china have much better technology compared to us.our scientists are handicapped for want of funds.look towards their salaries.all want to migrate to u.s.a.this is why america is the richest country in the world.all new technologies flows from them.they are in competitive mood always.what we should do.i suggest hand over defence equipment and aircraft manufacturing to private sector.if not 100% private then have joint partenership.we are 30 years behind america in even small technical developments.there is no original research work in india.leaders are elected by playing the card of backward,forward.sc/st/obc.merit is not recognised.only GOD takes care of this country.
In terms of comparing our military prowess we always compare ourselve with Pakistan,which truly speaking is a piece of monkey crap. We should actually be able to compare our capabilities and abilities with the likes of China. Pakistan is a country which is always in a self-destructive mode.They'll kill themselves with their foolish fundamentalism and burn itself with its own house fire.They're all Dumb F!@#s. Compare Chinese and Indian military and then try to outdo or match it.Thats when we have achieved something.

Our immediate enemy in the present situation is Pakistan. Though we are at par with the likes of US, Britain and China in military prowess it is but natural for anyone to compare the strength with the enemy imminent.

We are ahead of China in techonology aspects in most areas. Where Chinese are ahead is in brute numbers. They have far greater numbers.
There concept of war is always based on numerical superiority
I don't understand why DRDO testing Missiles?? since we INDIAN never invaded or attached nay nation, so what is use?? only other nation has invaded and ruled our country.

Thats true Raja Raja chola and Rajendra Chola had very strong navy and conquered Srilanka, Malaya,Bali Islands,etc.All This happen in BC and not in AD.

We should have (ICBM)Inter continentel ballistic missile. I request all scientist to concentrate on agni 5 having range of more than 5000km to counter attack china in future.

it is not about attacking china mr. nishant...a missile with the capability of hitting beijing will prevent china from attacking us...in the same way as india did not attack pakistan after the parliament attack..fearing a last dicth nuclear attack from pakistan
Congrats to our Missile Team in DRDO. It will be interesting though to understand that Weapon systems are getting mobile ,lighter to carry and more lethal. The RPG or the rocket launcher has fallen into the hands of the terrorists and creates a havoc in Urban combat, likewise the Stinger and the Mortar. Our ground troops need weapons to match these and improve firepower and mobility. These days conventional weapons have fallen prey to superior air power and the highly mobile ground forces. It will be interesting to know our progress in this area
India must now concentrate fuly on ICBM hitting target up to 6000 KM.round the clock production is necessary and atleast 3 tests more required of Agni III 3500 KM range and 3 tests of Agni IV upto 6000 KM in next 4 months
