Gen Khanduri might have started good, but now he is in the sameboat as was his predesessor.

the latest scandle that is going to snowball is Rular electrification, where a defaulted company from Andhra ( for which venketa naidu had lobbied hard) was given a contract and 93 crores were given as advance by BCkhanduri govt and the company did not do any thing.respective DM's had initiated action the company but nothing happened, rather it got an extension( this time verbal instruction from the CM).
2. Gen made apolicy that newspapers from outside states will not be given advertisement, but information avaliable through RTI established that magzines and papers affalited with RSS/sangh were given advertisenet from far of places like banglore /andhra .

Corruption is a deep rooted problem and has become the psyche of our society ,general's gesture are thre to impress the common man.he should instead try to weed out the roots instead of just cutting the branches.

Khanduri's crusade against corruption
by Madhusudhan N.R. on Dec 18, 2007 05:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Good to read about this and wish him all success. Khanduri was instrumental in making Vajpayee's dream of the Golden Quadrilateral a reality, till of course the Congress came to power and put it on the back-burner. Every town/village that is in the path of the GQ has seen a tremendous improvement in quality of life, as well as improvement in trade/business income due to better connectivity. The congress could not digest the obvious benefits of the GQ, which showcased BJP's and Vajpayee's growth oriented policies. I hope Khanduri is as successful with his current drive. Cheers!!

Madhusudan

You are naive. BJP used GQ as a tool to get rich and promote BJP on all India basis by erecting expensive billborad on major national highways city limits displaying Atal as their saviour. GQ is not on backburner but still on, the only thing you dont know because not much hype is there unlike BJP regime.

we are always negative
by Atanu on Dec 18, 2007 05:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What India need is not to waste time in eliminating corruption but to put your energy in development rather. We are always interested in negetive works like " remove corruption" , "remove poverty" , "Remove Child Labour" etc. It is impossible to remove all without economical , social & moral development.

You are wrong, my friend. corruption is the cause for many ills and has to be tackled to allow real merit and development along with the ensuing benefits to percolate to all levels. Its corruption that prevents the really hard-hit poor to benefit from any scheme.

New scale to major curruption!
by KhukharShikari on Dec 18, 2007 04:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

scale range 0-1 congressiness, means if u are pure congressi having congressiness equal to 1 then u r most currupt/anti national...
So as per scale modi is having 0 congressiness so not currupt..
Deve gauda is having 1 congressiness so he is most currupt and anti national

Karunanidhi is 2 in that scale. Karunanidhi's position is unbeatable like Yuvraj singh. He is anti national for extending support to LTTE. His family became richest south indian family...

Let BJP come to power in next Lokshaba elections
by on Dec 18, 2007 04:14 PM  Permalink

Just like Narendrabhai Modi's BJP government in Gujarat, Uttarkhand CM Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri is doing the right thing. I wish him all the best.

I think only BJP could provide the best governance among all the political parties in India.

Excellent Initiative!!
We need such kind of leaders. Sharad Pawar, Nitish Kumar, Narendra Modi, Chandrababu naidu are some of them.
Media should highlight action and their results also.

Road connectivity linking New Delhi, Kolkota, Chennai and Mumbai is the greatest example of Gen. Khanduri's corruption free tenure as Minister of National Highways. We need more Khanduris to rule each and every state of this country and also our great nation India. Long live Khanduri.
