Why people want Modi to win or lose
by Pashupati on Dec 18, 2007 12:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

People have differing opinions about why modi should win or lose the election. Some want him to lose for weirdest of reasons...because he doesn't make many friends, or because they think that he eats meat or because they don't like his face or that they just can't stand him. Strange.

Strange it is. Some vote him because he orders fake encounters and tramples human rights

Terrorists fine but suspected terrorists mean that David if your neighbor foes not like you, all he needs to do is to label you as suspected terrorists. The issue here is whether we follow laws of natural justice or rule of the jungle which Modi advocates. If the latter, then we no more than mere animals!

Pop Head,
The attitude like this is what crushed the Hindu religion. I am not saying that we need to kill. But to conquer the enemy, first step is to understand the enemy. Just trying to stay in your own shell and saying that me not doing what the enemy does proves that I am morally superior is wrong. Self protection and self preservation is the basic rule of this nature. Nature itself runs on this basic principle. Liberals should understand this as nature itself is reacting to all the excesses performed against it. I am not saying that every muslim is an enemy but certainly the ones who want to (openly or secretly wish) to convert India to Dar Ul Islam are enemy of this country.

Even if Shorabuddin is my neighbor, why should I face trial because of this accident? But your Modi does not believe in trials. He belives in law of the jungle -elimination of people before our courts pronounce them as guilty. The real fact is that Modi did because his financiers - the Rajasthan mining lobby were being threatened by Shorabuddin

MISLEADING MEDIA
by akshock on Dec 18, 2007 12:07 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

IN INDIA MAJORITY TV PRINT AND ELECTRONIC MEDIA ARE MISLEADING PEOPLE BY PRODUCING FAKE EXIT POLL. WHICH ARE ALWAYS INCORRECT AND TRY TO INFLUENCE THE VOTERS TO VOTE FOR PSEUDO SECULAR POLITICAL PARTIRS.

Poll surveys used to be quite effective in their initial days back in the early 90s. However, with so many new groups trying to have a foothold in the business, the over all scenario has changed dramatically. Now they carry it out just for attaining instant viewership.

Pankaj that is an interesting point you raised. Till 90's, it was easy for pollsters. Generally, North and South India voted similarly generating waves in favor of the Congress or non-Congress parties/political formations. The scenario changed after 90's where voting became fragmented so much that adjacent villages may vote contrastingly and also the political fragmentation particularly of UP. For the first time in a decade UP has a majority government. But without either of the national parties.

Most of the exit polls in the just concluded Gujurat Assembly polls sampled not more than 60 constituencies viz. around 1/3rd the universe. Sample sizes of 8,000 (CNN-IBN) and 18,000 (NDTV) could be considered robust in before 1990 may not be adequate since ajacent constituencies may demonstrate different voting trends.

BJP/Narendra Modi ..Grand Victory. Why?
by Vasudev Shetty on Dec 18, 2007 12:07 AM  Permalink

That is the only way the people of Gujarat can answer the baseless criticism of Sonia Gandhi.. using and spreading communalism for self interest. BJP especially Narendra Modi should win with landslide majority for the security of the country and for communal harmony to prove which is actual Secularism.

If BJP need to come back
by Kakes on Dec 18, 2007 12:06 AM  Permalink

If at all BJP have any intention to get back to power, they should steer clear the bunch of power hungry, corrupt, criminals, fixers from its fold... the likes of pramod mahajan, who had been nurtured by business houses, to run their agenda... The BJP got their mandate earlier because they carried the aspirations of Indian Middle Class... the moment they have forgotten that they were kicked out... learn from the lessons and improve ... or perish.. the Gujarat show can be the right platform to launch a right note

The divide and rule policies started during the BJP-Janata party govt of late 80's. You forget that BJP had a big role to play during VP singh govt. Later Advani started his Rath yatra to spread the message of divide and rule with his poison of hindutva. That eventually led to destruction of the babri Mosque follwed by massive riots and bob blast etc. So tell me who is repsonsible..Mandal and Masjid which transformed the Indian polity.

The divide and rule politics was mastered by Indira Gandhi. She wanted to rule congress and engineered split in congress. She could not see Akalis in power in Punjab and propped up Bhindarawale. She dismissed a legitimate governement of NT Rama Rao in AP. The examples are numerous. And Mandal was not a creation of BJP. It was that of that coward VP Singh- the worst PM India has ever had.

whenever hindus are getting united irrespective of caste and creed, congress will bring with
caste based quota in order to split the unity of hindus becouse they do not want hindus unity.
more than this, congress allow muslims from bangaladesh in to west bengal/assam in big way besides christian missionaries in north east states and also in down south by supporting communists and dmk and appointing christian chief minister in andhra pradesh ect so that hindus population will be under check and minorities will outnumber hindus in some states
like in kerala/mizoram/nagaland/assam/kashmir
ect besides creating disunity amoung hindus by dividing them on caste is the best handiwork of
congress who had cheated hindus for past 60 years and now made a foreign born lady as its chief and proxy PM of india.this is dangerous to
hindus future generation and it is high time all hindus irrespective of caste and creed get
united in one banner and vote out congress from
power.hence quota system to be eleminated by hindus themselves first.

Isaac Easow...

Late in 80's India was ruled by Indira Gandhi. BJP was not there at that time. Only Jan Sangh which was part of Janatha Party was there. Devide and rule was started by Britishers...

Unfortunately... even after Independence, Congress lead by Nehru and Co continued the same policy. Reservations, Minority Favours and harbouring and nurturing Terrorists like Bhindranwale... all these were acts of Congress...

Every ill that plagues India today... be it poverty, terrorism, corruption or communalism were created and fostered by Congress to keep it's 'vote banks' intact.

If Laloo, Mayavathy and likes have driven Congress out of Hindi Heartland... They have done so by Mastering Congress's own tricks and beating it at it's own game.

For all the negatives about BJP... They rever the country as Goddess. Not like Congress... Who find a leader in a Lady WHO DID NOT TAKE UP INDIAN CITIZENSHIP FOR 12 LONG YEARS AFTER MARRYING THE SON OF INDIA'S PRIME MINISTER !

Pop Head -

you do not need to write anything. Simply write your name as reply and everyone will understand your thoughts. They are simply insults for Modi, BJP and Hindus.

I am a Sikh and its was congress who committed genocide on my community. Rajeev Gandhi made the call for "khoon ka badla khoon". Congress killed thousands in Delhi. Recently Communists killed hundereds and carried out cleansing in Nandigram and ofcourse of your beloved "MUSLIMS".

From what moral grounds are you coming out and throwing "insults". In India "Congress" and "Communists" have killed largest number of Innocent People. Since 1947 history full of it. There are two ideologies in India who are engaged in destroying Indian society one is Islamism using Jihad, Jamaat and Madrasas. Second is communism using Naxilism and recent Nandigram shows even entire party comrades are foor soldeirs of commie "killer armies".
