1) Pakistan has 32.6% of population living below the poverty line while india has 24%.
2) Pakistan has 54% Literacy while india its 62%.
3) On the corruption index Pakistan stands at 138(More corrupt) while india is at 72.

Which clearly shows that india is a much successful state which a better economic growth rate as well. There no comparision of Pakistan with india. Pakistan is comparable to countries like Afganistan and somalia. Jai hind.

Hey Rajiv please give me a clarification whether you are an Indian citizen. Because the use of the word "your Kashmir" makes me doubt it.

Pakistan makign mockery of democrazy
by GN on Dec 15, 2007 05:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After independece, it is one or other military coups happening in pakistan.

Those muslims who preferred INDIA during partition must be very happy, not getting into a country which cannot establish a permanent democracy even after so many years.

It is my perception thatMr. Mussaraff is actually is an RAW agent for india prior to kargil war.Bcoz the way he captured power then slowly bending to USA and even tactfully closing down the terrorist camps meant for creating sabotage in Kashmir and in whole of India.
So, we should thank RAW for its achivement as it is the best thing they have done after 1971 Bangladesh war

small ray of hope emerges
by indriyo on Dec 15, 2007 05:26 PM  Permalink

this is good news for all the democratic institutions who fought so hard throughout this emergency. But they shouldnt be complacent once the emergency is lifted or once their PM is elected. Their vibrance shud sustain and inform the military about Pakistani's thirst for stable democracy and thwart any idea of a future military coup. Thats the only way to improve the economy and bring peace to Pakistan
