If Mr. Bidwai is correct then a hell will break out of India. India may be broken into cast based states, forget religion very soon.I think Bidwai is dreaming of this day when he will need a visa to travel to Mumbai/ Calcutta/ Gujurat from Delhi. These journalists have amassed huge amount of wealth by Congress, like Rajdeep of CNN-IBN. This guy is openly for CONGRESS.
Today- 12/14/07, just within a gap of few hours, I saw 2 articles, both almost gives a feeling of personal bias and personal anguish against someone.

I did not see rational journalism at all, where they take a point and make an argument against it on base of facts.
Rather I saw "Journalism" of "I am saying they are wrong, because I say so", no rational, no proof or link to source of fact, nothing but personal speculation.
Also there was no counter balance to these 2 articles, how can one justify without any opposing argument or rebuttal.
If you combined the 2 article and see that there is no one to counter, they seems more dictatorial themselves along with Radiff News.
It almost seems like Radiff is abusing their position in News media by providing one-sided bias picture to its readers.

catholics,protestants,orthodox,christian-dalits christian adivasis are against congress upa govt becouse congress govt do not give subsidy for xtians to visit jerusalam but give only to muslims for haj trip.so these people are against upa govt.
Gujarat elecotrates will only punish fools like Praful Bidwai. Its very well known that Praful is funded by terrorists to write this piece and to defame BJP. Gujarat voters, are nevertheless smart, and hence Modi will likely be re-elected. It is time to start digging the grave for congress and commies.

Congratulations to the people of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh who are going to polling booths. I am sure that people will slap the both anti-people governments.
I hope Rediff Moderator should sanitize articles before publishing them on Web or else they should give the readers option about 'Report abuse' on articles as well. The language wrote by Praful is highly abusive and Pro-Congressi.

Mr : Praful Bidwai seems to be a strong against BJP and he is using rediff to voice his view. This is surely his own thinking and should not be considered as a voice of the nation. At least people writing artical should have an independent thought and should not be driven by view of political parties, it should reflect the voice of the people.

well I am an anti BJP person than also I have a strong belive that BJP will win gujrat assembly and that also with simple majority yeah that is true they will get a huje reduction in the number of seats
The artcile clearly makes me to think about the desperate efforts of congress. It is bononza for rediff like people to rake in money. I pity on Indian people as they have to face these as.s. ho..l.es.
