YOu are absolutely right! I know of parties in TN abetting poorest of men to immolate themselves and pay their families some amount and take care their of them. These abetting they do for immolating themselves in support of a political leader mostly Chief Ministerial cadre.

Regarding the American policy less said the better. Whole world knows their attitude towards Saudi and its women. In a way, teh Left parties are right in warning the Govt not to accede to US pressure. India need not be an ally to US. US needs India more than India needing the US. India has the options to form Russia-China-India axis. Or aliging with Iran etc., but the US doesnot have an option. WIth whom will they ally? Pakistan? They are paying heavily for it now.
I am sure most of you would admire Bhagat Singh for the brave role he played in starting the revolution against Britishers. But such a brave hero is regarded as a terrorist by the Congress, and now they talk about Sohrabbudin. Afjal, who attacked the Parliament was awarded death by the court but still he is being supported by the Congress. Why! because they dont want to loose Muslim votes in Kashmir region.
