why Modi comparable to hitler
by siv on Dec 13, 2007 09:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Paradox is his trademark. He is a collage of multiple images -- inept pragmatist, Hindu fanatic, chief monster, can-do leader, dictator, development man, prime minister material, a menace to democracy, polarising and communal, CEO of Gujarat Inc
Exactly right this what hitler shown

In another words, Muslims only love secularism when they are in a minority. That is very conenient. Is that a survival strategy?

Also, do Muslims believe in national boundaries, or all the Muslims of the world are a single nation? If not, then why do Muslims riot in India when Saddam Hussain is hanged?

Personal feelings or Journalism....
by Stee on Dec 13, 2007 08:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

trying again...with proper format

Surprisingly author of this Article wants to dismiss Modi, but just by his own standard like "he is wrong because I say so" no rational, no proof, nothing.

Mr. Parvin Sheth doesn't take any of the claims Modi and his administrations has made and is making in their campaign, and then make argument against it, rather just keep ranting on things which are mostly speculative, personal feelings and cannot be proven.

For ex. He goes "His imaginative adoption of the 'yellow' model of economic growth (taken from Eastern Tiger countries%u2026." and "imaginative introduction of SEZs and port-based development%u2026"

So, if some try to do something which you disagree with, that becomes "Imaginative" ?

Also, he seems to be quite knowledgably about castes in Gujarat, but also seems to forget many other castes like Baniyas, Bhramins and so on%u2026

If you read entire article author seems to dripping with feeling of anti-Modiesm rather than writing based on facts, which what a "Journalist" is supposed to do.

Satya goes "I wonder why the intelligentsia all over the planet are anti-Modi"
well, it depends how you define "intelligentsia" , if having some linguistic skills - especially in English - is your definition for so called "intelligentsia" then good luck.

In Europe there is only one country which predominantly speaks English - that is Great Britain

As far, Tarun Tejpal and Babu Bajranji goes, I haven't seen/read report, only thing I know is meaning of "Bajrangi" it relates to more Shiv Sena...

Modi is going 'down-slope' of the Hill now...Good for India
by Raj on Dec 13, 2007 08:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

His days are over and I am wondering what is the author of this article trying to potray. His mother wearing Rs.5 Chappal. I wish she has used that 'chappal' for what Modi did during the riot and he would not have been what he is now. he deserve to answer million of questions before he exits. He should be legally tried directly by Supreme Court who has shown tremendous interest to save the plural & secular image of India. All these modis fans are found only on this rediff news papers. No other papers have these fans out there. No one care for him and that is a good sign for India.
I am proud Indian and would love to see India a soverign and secular state.

@Raj sez "He should be legally tried directly by Supreme Court "

I agree with you, but I also believe that we should be even, i.e. "Crime is Crime, and every one involved in it should be tried and punished"

I was wondering what are your thoughts on 84 Anti-sikh riots, has any one een tried so far or should be tried ?
Also what are thoughts on...

What should happed to Afzal Guru, person who is one of who attachked on Indian Parliament

"I am proud Indian and would love to see India a soverign and secular state."

So am I, but unfornutly we are slowly losing our Soverignity to so called "Western States", for ex. "Nuclear Deal" with US.

by the way, I'm not fan of Modi or BJP, but would support who ever want's bring properity to India and Gujarat be it Modi or Manmohan Singh , from BJP or Congress or any other party.

India has severe shortage of "non corrupt" and politician who works in favor masses

Very well said my friend. I have spoken to lots of people in Gujarat. The mood is not like what you see in Rediff by these apparently literate people. It is different in Gujarat where rozi roti, and good governance are just lies being spread. I interact with a lot of people from the economically backward strata of society as part of my job, and they just HATE Modi. Hindutva is passe. People are not bothered about Hindutva, they just want to live happily with roti, kapda aur makaaan. The farmers have so many stories to tell that Modi would feel ashamed if he were a human being. SO MANY lies about development. Ahmedabad and Baroda are NOT gujarat. There are lots of other cities and villages which are like graveyards. All LIES by the saffron mafia.

If no party gets a clear majority, the governor has to invite the leader of a political party who is most iikely to form the govt. Once the leader is sworn in, he has to prove his majority wihtin 15 days or so. This is when horse trading starts and MLAs are bribed to support the govt. Presidential system is much better.

No one in India can give a satisfactory answer to the demolition of Babari Masjid nor could a judgment came out.Tresspassing may be allowed in their views whoever present at the time of demolition of the so publicised Babri Masjid demolision case. Our Judicials are just skin savers of the post they want to keep intact. Whom did u ask to take a chair where 100 Crores of Indians look on your impartial decicision. Every1 has that ability to keep matters pending , even a trainee advocate could get sensitive case postponed for a desired date where a learned & decisive Judge is present.Jessica Lal murdeer case,Nitish Kataria murder case,Shivani Bhatnagr murder case,CBI raids & their silence afterwards all indicates the manipulations of someone's desires. JUST GATHER A 22% vote and rule the world. Is it not so ?

Women in Gujarat decisively voted against Sonia Gandhi%u2019s propaganda %u2013 Bjp to register a landslide victory
Parth Sharma
Dec. 13, 2007

The negative propaganda of Sonia Gandhi and the Congress party backfired. The women of Gujarat voted decisively for Narendra Modi and his party BJP in the election.

The flamboyant Chief Minister portrayed an image of political purifier added to the charismatic character. It is not just the urban women from the cities that made the difference but also the women form the villages and the countryside that lined up to vote for BJP.

The male voters has fallen by nearly 3 percentage points to 62%, and at the same time the percentage of women has gone down marginally to 57%. The gap between male and female voters, which was 7% in 2002, has shrunk to 4% in 2007. That 3% gap reduction has provided the massive boost to the BJP candidates.
