Why so racist like you can gloat over the ethnic cleansing and genocide of the indegenous Eelam Tamils. Whats happening in the East of Sri Lanka. Short sighted idiots like you will laugh the other way when you have Uncle Sam and Jehadi Pakistanis start bothering Southern India ( which has remained peaceful) instead of Indian friendly predominantly Hindu Tamils. Just think before making stupid comments.If your under the illusion that the Tamils will be given their just rights after the LTTE defeat, you are sadly mistaken. The Sinhalese will not give anything. Their aim from the time of independence is to make Sri Lanka a pure Sinhala Buddhist country. ( It was not and never was) . They are just hoodwinking the world, or the world pretends to be hoodwinked as they seem ot be very alert to perceived injustices against whites. It is the LTTE that has so far saved the Tamil lands in the north from large scale Sinhala colonisation and ethnic cleansing. During the period of president J.R. Jayawardene he and his ministers had drawn out a large scale plan to flood the distrcits of Vavuniaya,Mullativu , Mannar and Killonochi with Sinhlala colonists from the south. This plan was thwarted by the LTTE. Peaceful and non violence protests to gaind just Tamil rights were only answered with extreme vilonece against the Tamils by succesive Sinhala governments. If people are crying about Malaysia what is happening here is far worse, An indegenous Hindu population is subjeted to genocide.

Mr. Seth, I agree with your point of view but I believe that you need to do a better job of convincing others that Tamils of LTTE are really fighting for the just cause. Being Gujarati, I have no business of getting involved with Tamils vs. Sinhala issue. However, I had eye opening experience when I visited Sri Lanka in 70's. Based on my experience I can sat that it is a religeous issue and until there is harmony between priests of both religion, nothing is going to be resolved. That means that Hindu Shankaracharyas need to accept Budhism and Budhist need to be convinced that there will not be a repeat of what happened to Budhism in India - LTTE controlled areas. Just a short history - Shankaracharyas were responsible for opposing Budhist and embracing Muslims to defeat and eliminate Budhisnm from India. That is what Sinhala people are afraid of.
