in 1980s and 1990s he tried to project himself as the alternative to American supremacy.
He even tried to create a super Arab state merging Libya, Sudan etc. He failed to make any difference or impact. Finally he made peace with USA and now is content being yet another ordinary dictator.
He calls Libya a republic, but he is preparing his son for becoming the next ruler.
Gadaffi is yet another joker like Musharaf, who refuses to bring democracy and freedom to his nation .
I do not know much about whether Gaddafi is friendly to India or not at present. But I have read that during the 1971 war he supported and extended help to Pakistan, purely on religious grounds. The Pakistani leaders were so grateful they named a stadium after him in Lahore, Gaddafi stadium. Is it true?

IRAN always supported india in Kashmir issue, but on US pressure we acted against them. so there are no permanent foes or friends in life only permanent intrests
It should be shame for everybody whatever will be the topic but they bring religion to discuss here and pinpointing on each other if we see 1 thing nobody has proper knowledge about there religion and as well about others please always take care whenever you speak coz half knowledge is injurious to the society, please try to speak about peace and unity if you cant then atleast dont spread nuisance, hatred remember 1 more thing when a person speaks it shows his character and manners.
As age dawnsupon all the dictators become clowns.Take the example of Idi Amin and many others irrespective of religion.Gaddafi is no exception.the only tragedy is that the dignified politicians like Sarkozy are sitting with such clowns

Civilisation had dawned on the Indian subcontinent long before even the birth of christainity. Jejus christ had come to India and learned a lot from Buddhism and his preachings were also influenced by Buddhism. These Indian christains identify themselves with britishers but the latter care two hoot for them. The ancestors of the Indian christains embrassed christainty thinking that the western world will embrace them and treat them with equality. On the contrary they landed themselves in another discrimination against them by the white westerners. So also the muslim converts here are looked down upon by the ashrafs. God knows what they gained by converting to an alien faith. Both of them now should do well to shed their alien colors and embrace Buddism(or Jainism or any other "ism" originated on this soil) and join the mainstream.
