muslims dont deserve democracy..hence they dont deserve freedom of speech and liberty because muslims stopped developing after prophet mohammed.....for muslims the time prophet mohammed lived in feudal and medievial barbaric time is the perfect and most ideal one.....there was no democracy at the time prophet mohammed.....so muslims cannot accept democracy, modernisation, freedom of speech.....so its waste of time to impart democracy among muslims...they deserve to be ruled by mad mullahs, military dictators like saddam who kills his own citizens with chemical.....cruel persons like saddam hussein , taliban who rule with iron hand and cruelty are right for the muslims to rule.....not the one who cares for development and modernisation.....

He has taken pains to write the article as correct as possible.Basically Pakistan as other Muslim nations is feudalistic state and is averse to democracy.It is only because of Amerikan pressure, the rulers are trying to ape the western world.Pakistani people are enthsiastic and curious about democracy.I wish best success for them and would rule over themselves by themselves and for themselves.
The Author Dr Mohammad Sajjad , department of history, Centre of Advanced Study, Aligarh Muslim University has covered this article well and equated with India on many counts...but he has purposely not stated that Islam is the major and sole reason for Pakisthan to be an failed democracy..this is the crux of the entire matter..pakisthan is an islamic state and runs on islam and sharia rules and regulations..this has failed same like in other muslim nations world over..this isnt anything new..islamization is the sole cause of Pakisthans failure..where in the world other than in islamic nations non-muslims live as second class citizens and have to live daily life with terror rape kidnapping and forced conversion...
first muslims wipe out all non-muslims and their institutions and then force the remaining non-muslims to dhimmis status to do their menial jobs...its an torture to live in islamic lands for non-muslims..even to build and church or temple needs presidents nod!!..this is the reason why islam is an failure..it enslaves body mind and soul..islam is the sole cause for muslim misery world over hence all islamic countries are diseased sick and failures..other than hatred and terrorism nothing good can ever come out of these nations...

Though this article started well to outline the differences between the administration mechanisms of India Vis a Vis Pak, the author has failed to take a balanced thought, for ex.: (1) During the initial years of Indian independence (1947-1956) the opposition literally gave a run for each rupee for the government. They were very constructive and highlighted many loopholes in the basic administrative structure, of which some were resolved and some still remain to be huge problems (like subsidies, religious reservations, etc.). (2)The Congress, being a political party was forced to follow this approach, or else, it faced decline (like cases of reservation), thus India was built by Indians not by Congress. (3) Finally author quotes 1975 emergency and Godhra riots as black spots, but forgets about Sikh Killings, Killings of Hindus during 1992 etc.
