This is one of the most absurd arguments put forward by a national commission and reported by media. It is surprising that people at such level are even confident of arguing on something which can at best be taken only at a person to person level. Such people who cannot distinguish between academic and personal development should be thrown the doors of their offices. The government has no right to waste public money on people who come up with such ridiculous arguments. What at most they can claim that there were instances of people distracting from studies, but they can't answer how much, do they have number on whether 10% get distracted or 50% or more, and even then what makes them think that it is co-ed and not some other social factor? Maybe it is parents non-approval of friendship that distracts and disturbs them more, what are they going to do? Ask the parents to stay away from children? It is highly objectionable when such arguments come from something like a National Mission. God help us...
Fools! Don't marry your daughters also. It will distract them! If at all they marry, ask them to keep their face covered even when with the husband otherwise it will distract husbands. Don't teach the young generation at all, otherwise it will distract them. Don't tell the terrorists amongst you to put down violence, otherwise they will be distracted!

Arif, you seem to be a person thinking good. But the mullahs are void of wise people. If there are too many good and wise people like you, it will stop their business. They don't know that even the prophet was not born without his mother. They are reversing the wheels of the time.
We must thank Manmohan and Congress for initiating that report. It helps us know who is taking forward and who is taking us backward. India is growing at 9% today but could be more if 100% of Indians were contributing to the nation. There are only three things needed in India for all - Education , Education and more education. Those who are not educating themselves and all members of their family in modern , progressive ways are enemies of this country and drag on the nation whichever religion or caste they belong to. I know of many Hindu families also who do not allow their daughters to work or educate them only to become nursery teachers as time pass before marriage. We must oppose them as well.
It is not to criticise any book of religion,but it is what is said by Sayyad Modudi and Mohd Farukh Khan in their Quran in Hindi(I do not understand the purpose of Hindi quran,if what is written in it is as per arabic quran.These two are very famous and learned peopole on quran- sura3 ,ayaat 118 of this book says not to befriend anyone out of islam commnity.If so how can we live in peace.That is why you are witnessing such hostile and uncivilised comments.Same sor of order is passed in sura3,ayaat 28.and in sura 4,ayaat 144.Please read it.Ag6ya 9 of ayaat 23 enjoins the new muslims(my chacha jee in Pakistan)if our father and brother have not converted to islam do not have any connection with them and do not befriend them. The hindi quran does not directs not only not to have cordial relations with non-muslim,it directs them to give tortures,punishments and death to Hindus Christian Jews etc.See Sura 2,ayaat 161 which say 'wherever they meet,kill them.Ayaat 163 of the same sura says 'keep fighting with them till Moorti Pooja is abolished and till the islam overpowers them.In fact there are much more frightful orders against Hindus .In sura 6,ayaat 5 there is order of allah' after the holi month of Ramjaan,kill the Moorti Poojaks wherever you meet them,arrest them,suround them and lay in ambush for themSura 8,ayya5 6 also says the same.This probably will clear as to why people are behaving the way the have been behaving in their comments on this article.I do not consi

Are u afraid as i know it is christain like you will always oppsoe with quran as an hindu he cannot understand his own scrpits how come he can understand quran. Quran is a mini comic book if you compare it with hindu scriptures, atleast they don't tell you to go and behead unbelivers for 72 virgins.
