Hindus do not need to side with Christians or Jews - AS THEY HAVE ENOUGH NUMBERS. Hindus are the most tolerant society and as a hindu I have just visited my sister in Kashmir - who never left along with her husband's family. Their muslim neighbours love them and give them the respect that is due and vice versa. My respect for the common Muslim has increased - unfortunately their religious leaders still believe in preaching their sermons of hatred against anyone who opposes Salahudin - who is hated by the common Kashmiri. You David Johnson are a mischief monger - a weasel who loves to create hatred. India is a secular country only because 82 percent of Indians are Hindus.

Don't call so loudly - allah and his islam was a copybook from god and christians. Whereas Hinduism is very highly philosophical and all encompassing... first learn about it. You'll find by yourself that quoran and bible seems to be like nursery rhymes when compared to the Vedas or Gita.

the biggest proof of tolerance of Hinduism is in a country where 80% are Hindus other religions existing and the right to express their views . 14% are Muslim, 2.4% Christian, 2% Sikh, 0.7% Buddhist, 0.5% Jains, 0.4% others are co-existing with the majority. There are factors who are trying to spread the hatred among religions, but before abusing HINDUISM and talking about killing hindus, please do give a thought about, what if 80% of HINDUS start feeling the same ??

The Greek in 300 BC called the people of other side of river Indus - as Hindus. And form Hindus it become Hindu now. Not the arab as you mention. By the way what is the relation of naming of Hindu and Allah and your invitation to Islam? To be holy enough its not necessary one need to call his god Allah. One can be a good human following his own religion whatever it is.

Ram is the integral part of every Indians .You cannot seperate Ram from the heart of Indians .I remember during my childhood ,we used to read a storey named "BHARATBARSHA"written by S WAJED ALI ,the grand father of present day socielite NAfisa ali ,the then beutiqueen of Bengal and a champion swimer as per Newspaper survey.How much is true about relation ,i dont know .But the storey of Bharatbarsha by S wajed Ali used to inspire evrybody including Bhuddha also .The stoey line says that the hero came back to his native place after 25 years and have seen that the entire place has compltely changed including people,road,and the hero was searching a very old shop where he used to listem RAM Katha by the owner of the shop ,where their children used to listen .Suddenly he found that shop with the same person reading Ram katha and their children is listening despite the shop being in the midst of of concrete jungle .The hero was surprised to see that no changes happened in terms of reading Ram katha by the people even after 25 years .He could not resist his emotion and asked the owner that still Ram sethu is not complte even you started 25 years ago.The owner replied It was started by my father then and i was a child then .Even my father got this reading Ram katha from his father .Our tradition is still going .Hero thought for a moment that this is Bharatbarsha (India)where everything will change but Ram katha tradition will continue .So my answer to all that Ram is existing .

The sorey "BHARATBARSHA" was written in Bengali language by S wajed Ali some 100 years back and still I am sure 100s of thousands populations who read including present day Bangladesh knows this famous storey .It is not the people we divide ourselfs ,it is this nasty political parties who divide us .It is sad ,really sad .Actually I am trying to get that book now but not available to anywhere .Can anybody help me to get that book .abboral@hotmail.com
I do not support voilence.One wrong cannot be corrected by another wrong. In the column 50 years back Pandit Nehru has termed the Dravida Kazhagam as terroist. I feel Hindus are the Minorities in India as they always get step motherly treatment.The treatment of every should be at par. He says that the media has misinterpretted his words. that is all politicians will speak such that it can be interpretted in any way. if any objection comes then he will say that what i said was " 2 " and not "1"
2. When did buddha speak about RAM in a gathering of muslims not in a meeting of hindus.
3. Ironically, the place where RAMA stayed after he left ayodha on obeying the words of his father dasaratha is called "nandigram " 4. buddha tell us clearly did you pray RAM to get this NANDIGRAM problem solved. 5. Why do these communist " so called atheists " often repeat the name of RAM more than his RAM's own bhakthas.
A small remark by Taslima on muslim religion and all parties were crying for muslim fundamentalist. Can they deny the existence of Allah? There will be riot all over the world on such comment. All these chief ministers dare to do so about Ram, as they know it will help them with vote bank. I do not say -you curse Allah or other religion. Allah or Christ are as dear to us as they are dear to muslims or christians. They all are god for us. Let us respect to all gods as one. They are light for us in journey to the life. But do not take advantage of tolerating nature of Hindus. They tend to neglect such dirty remarks on their god. That does not mean they are soft target and can behave like lamb all the time. If this tendency continues- very soon you will see-suicidal squad of hindu youths running rampage all over the world. Are you ready for this MR. CHIEF MINISTERS? You all know India is one and secular only till Hindus are in Majority. The day they will be minority it will turn as a religion state. There is no denial of this fact in the society. All these pseudo secularist accept this fact behind the door but Vote bank is a short term gain and tempting. It's difficult to hold back the greed- even at the cost of the country. Me and my child-when pass by the temple, mosque, gurudwara or church -- we bow our head in respect. I think-we are lucky to have so many guiding lights in society. It can happen only in India. LET US RESPECT AND LOVE OUR SOCIAL FABRIC.
