This time, Modi was more brilliant than last elections. In one stroke, he took entire English media for a ride, who just played to his cards perfectly.
1. First he gets out of Karan Thapars highly over-rated show; thus making Karan practically beg him to return back 2. He attacks Sohrab in his speech; gaining respect amongst Gujaratis 3. Also sounding stern warning against the terrorists 4. He gives interview to the lamest news agency in the country - ToI, and then completely denies it 5. Every english media which just wanted TRP ratings, pounched on the one dubious statement of Modi and now have ended egg in their face. 6. In the process, Sonia now stands exposed for calling him liar, which obviously is THE lie; she kind of became the ball-boy in Modis Tennis match with Media.
Wow, what a ride. Now the hypocritical Indian English media really DESERVED this.

All the newspapers in Gujarat are same. They are all happy bashing Narendra Modi. The only reason is as I said before, they are miffed that Modi does not need them. The publisher of Gujarat Samachar (A newspaper which is not even worthy of covering shit with it) wanted a Rajya Sabha seat. When Modi did not oblihed, they turned against him. What they do not understand is that due to their personal enimosity, they are losing touch with their readers. Media's duty is to report facts. These guys do not only not report facts, they publish their highly biased opinions.

TOI is biased since they started operation in Gujarat.. this is since ages.. not new..but we had only one English newspaper.. but now in competition, they will hve to wake up and make upto the standards by living baptism..
Media (not just TOI) knowingly or unwittingly (mostly ambitious reporters, it is not the fault of Editors or owners)exaggerate things. It would be foolish and wasteful of public resources for courts, commissions and authorities to intiate action on the basis of such reports without cross checking. The matter should be investigated and the guilty should be punished in broader public interest. If TOI is at fault the paper should honorably acknowledge the mistake and aplogize. Even wester media do commit such errors due to over ambitious reporters fling fabricated reports for instant public fame. It is great disservice to the nation to feed false images of parties and people jeopardizing public peace and social integrity and security. Let us not react emotionally on the spur of the moment, especially, during such serious period as general elections. God save our country and bless our leaders to show us the right way.
TOI is mighitily silent on Modi's indictment against them. Normally they would publish that Modi is polluting environment even when he farts! But they are silent like dead. How can they react when they are caught red handed! People of Gujarat, it is now in our hands. Vote, vote and vote and expose these liars with your clear verdict in favour of Modi
I have seen N.Modi's interview video on NDTV. He replied every query in prompt way. If election commission gives a notice, what will happen...nothing. Just telling lies and giving notices won't work for anything. Let EC first know what is Shorabuddin background and how he used to live. Just giving a notice to an elected CM is not a justified action.

As the society (human civilization) developed we have matured in establishing a law and a judiciay to administer the law and punish/correct the ones who donot conform to it. Well said. Freedom of expression here means those expressions that pleases the BJP and their cohorts. Whatever is written here against the likes of Modi is reported for abuse. Moderator of this forum should be impartial and debar all those who report such truth for abuse. If the facts are not digestable, they should come out with their own version, instead of curbing the thoughts of others. Rediff is doing a good service through this forum, but then they should not play into the hands of such elements. Lots of vulgarity used by some persons in this forum but never reported for abuse. But then when I wrote something reflecting the truth, it was reported for abuse. I was really shocked to see such things happen. This will dampen the true spirit of this forum, which being hailed as a platform to say something which otherwise could not be said in any other media. For Modi, he is a real communal and he is playing the communal card to his advantage. The whole leadership of the BJP is rallying around him to bail them out in Gujarat, where winds of change are blowing in favour of Congress. It is all likely that Modi will be thrown out and with him BJP. Morality demands that people in highest position should be moderate, compassionate and polite. Such ingredients are not found in the leadership of BJP, more so in Modi, who being CM of a state used everything to whip up communal tension and win Hindu votes. But the voters are clever and they will surely vote him out in the hustings.

If you are living in India or Gujarat don't you feel a little safer than muslims in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia or Indonesia or Phillippines or Palestine or Syria or Turkey.Be glad that you have not lost your life in those blasts that killed muslims in Pakistan, Kashmir, or any of the several muslim countries. Come out iwth hars proven facts to substantiate your misgivings about Hindu-Mulsim unity. WE drink water from the same rivers, breathe same air, walk on the same soil and are going to be buried under the same soil. How comw then you think enlightened Hindus will fall prey to machinations of a few religious fanatics when over centuries in the past the Indian society has always welcomed and assimilated outsiders. Refugees came to India from Tibet, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka,Myanmar, Pakistan, Uganda and so on. Tell me an example (except during the unfortunate partition period) when there was an exodus of refugees from India to other countries. It is better to join the main stream which has to sustain your posterity and engage in fair and frank dialogue with your Hindu brethren. May the Almighty Allah and our Gods bless our thoughts to understand and love each other.
