The last bastion

Like India was the last bastion to conquer for Australian cricket, Gujarat has become last bastion for Sonia to conquer. Alas, like Steve Waugh, Sonia is also destined to fail. And Rahul is not Ricky!!

by Vinal Gandhi on Dec 08, 2007 11:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When the Gujarat elections were announced, the congress was tomtomming that Rahul Gandhi will also tour Gujarat and ensure congress' success. Well, everything is going from bad to worse for congress. Where is their saviour? Is he hiding behind momma's sari? Its not Chak De for Congress. It is Phenk De for them!

Your Modi not only is capable of calling a pig a pig he can also retract and call a pig a cow. That's what he did in the Sorabuddin case. He acted a bravado during an election meeting, turned coward and denied he ever supported fake encounters.

RE:WHY cong doesnt want to know??
by Dalit King on Dec 08, 2007 11:09 PM  Permalink

In a jolt to the BJP ahead of the assembly election in Gujarat, senior party leader and former CM Suresh Mehta quit the organisation on Saturday, accusing the top brass of "surrendering" to the whims and fancies of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

"I am quitting the house (BJP) that I help build into a palace, because it is no more suited for my stay. When I saw that the entire party was surrendering before one person (Narendra Modi) then I thought it was best to quit," he said announcing his resignation at a press conference.

Mehta, who was CM for a brief period in 1995, said that he had dedicated 50 years of his life to help build the party.

Sonia, (Khan) Gandhi and India
by Rajagopal Sadagopan on Dec 08, 2007 11:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think we must not make Sonia responsible for any statement she makes about Mahatma, India, Hindu and other matters partaining to our culture and tradition. After all she is only reading the speeches prepared by someone and she may not even be aware of the contents and defenitely the meaning and implications. She does not know about our country at all.

It is in record that even the father of her mother in law, i.e. Jawaharlal Nehru was honest enough to admit his lack of knowledge on indian culture and heritage. Then how anyone expect this poor italian to have any grasp of things. If EC had to take notice of her statments, they have also to haul her speechwriters.

But one is not sure if EC will question her since it is apparent that it is also a Sonia Congress stooge

Inspite of this one sided attitude of EC, it isa miracle that we have some free and fair election and we have to credit our electorate

Like there is no proof that Jesus was really married and had offspring, though some people are suggesting that he was. I think it is all fruitless discussion we slide into. Let us respect each other's religion and leave things at that. I mean are we a bunch of fanatics? What kind of people are we. To have a discussion like this when there are so many issues we should be concentrating our energies and time.

RE:Next in line

Jesus did not exist, so there is no question of his getting married. No, we are not all fanatics. Only the Muslims posting here are fanatics. They keep saying, "But it says in the Koran, x,y and z. Therefore it must be true". That is a mark of fanaticism, because the Koran is just a book, and it is not divine either. It is so full of contradictions that it is clearly human in origin, just like the Bible. Both books are great fiction.

No one found since 1400 year ago since it revealed. There are scintific facts in quran which science recently discovered. need more proof go and read Quran without being biased
