Each and every INDIAN citizen follows hinduism.
by GN on Dec 08, 2007 06:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The word Hindu is not a religious word. It is secular in origin. It is derived from the word Sindhu, which is the name of a major river that flows in the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent. The ancient Greeks and Armenians used to refer the people living beyond the river Sindhu as Hindus and gradually the name struck. When the Muslims came to the sub continent they called the people living in the region as Hindustanis to distinguish them from the foreign Muslims. Subsequently when the British established their rule, they started calling the local religions collectively under the name of Hinduism.

It is interesting to note that the word is neither Sanskrit nor Dravidian and did not originate in India. It was not used by Indians in their descriptions or writings till the 17th century. If we go by the original definition of the word Hindu, any one who lives in the subcontinent is a Hindu and whatever religion he or she practices is Hinduism. The word Hindu is a secular word and literally translated it means Indian and the word Hinduism denotes any religion or religions that are practiced by the multitude of people living in the land beyond the river Indus.

So what is the fight for

Opinion is Highly Divided!!
by Ismail Sayyed on Dec 08, 2007 06:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The opinion is highly divided about Mr Narender Modi. The civilised people feel that development at the cost of disgrace is not a good option and other group feels that development even at the cost of thousands dead bodies is not a problem. Develoment process should continue and wealth should be generated at every cost.

A hype has been created by both groups in favour of removing or for continuation of Mr Modi.

Every Indian would like to see growth in all areas except crime and the process of development should not be slowed down as we have all the ingredients to challenge all the Odds that will come in the path of our progress. Even the mighty America with its policy of denying technology to India could not stop us and has reconciled to the situation and has offered olive branch.

The biggest myth and hype that has been created is that Mr Narender Modi has brought the development in Gujrat.

The fact is that the business class of Gujrat particularly the Patels who are running the show all over the world and have replaced jews from the trade of diamond all over the world without the support of Mr Modi.

Credit for growth goes to the enterpreneures of Gujrat and the leading business houses and cetainly a very small credit to Narender Modi.

Remove Narender Modi and you will see that the rate of progress will not slow down. But it is not easy to get rid of this fellow as he is good in playing dirty tricks all the time and anyone can be his victim.

NEED FOR NEW LAW
by wiki pedia on Dec 08, 2007 05:58 PM  Permalink

There should be a Law where we can chose a government for 15 to 20 years. This will be comfortable for we all and if that government or party will not perform up to the mark then voters give chance to opposition to rule.

And Indian Electronic Media should be banned for forever.

RSS survey sees Modi defeat

Full Report-zeenews dot Com

Report Says
According to the RSS survey, Modi is expected to get around 68 to 75 seats. About a month ago, the news came from the inner circles of BJP that Modi is expected to win 97 seats, but only after 15 days, this statistics dropped to 80. The paradox is if Modi is unable to win in the survey of his own party, he hardly stands any chance in this election.

RSS men drive a wedge between RSSman and BJP man. That is haws and dives.Their policy is to cut the branch on which all of them are sitting !! And when they get defeated in the elections they shout at secularists!!! BJP does not have a vision to rule this nation.Mat be
75 years old Organization - RSSmen are arm chair thinkers. They do not have a vision to give directions to BJP.Had they vision and experience of 75 years they would have built up BJP like party to give a tought fight to the private limited company by name Cong-I.Hence foreign born lady Sonia is ruling this unfortunate nation.I am of the opinion that Rahul to gets married to yet another foreigner and makes his wife as a member of Lok Sabha and RSSmen would shout at whom ??

modi will lose some more seats. just wait and see.
his arrogance will never win anything to any body.
fir-aun, karoon, and namrood all went down due to their arrogance. no body can raise his head after so many innocent life killings. only some arrogant person can do this and modi will pay for this soon.

Real Face of Modi!!
by Ismail Sayyed on Dec 08, 2007 05:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

A hardcore RSS follower told rediff.com, "If Modi loses this election, it will be only because of his arrogance. If the Congress could successfully 'sell' the line that Modi is a self-absorbed, arrogant leader doing things -- even killing so-
called criminals after dubbing them as terrorists -- to strengthen his own image for a career in New Delhi, then Modi will be hit hard. The 'pseudo-nationalist' line will certainly sell among Gujaratis."

Modhavadia also concedes this point.

"We believe that Modi is behind Godhra and Akshardham. But while alleging that, we will have to make sure that there is no backlash from Hindus. We have no doubt that we will expose Modi's pseudo-Hindu face."

Mr.Ismail remember onething. For over 60 years Cong-I has been keeping muslims poor and treat them like a big vote bank.Secondly Mr.Ismail think of karsevaks who were burnt in the train by muslims supported by secularists and then its reaction was all their to see.

Weather Modi wins or loses is not the question here. If he wins he may play a national role and if he gets defeated we all will remember him as a braveman lonely fought for the protection of majority community and saved Gujarat from becoming a terrorists hideouts.During his five years rule Gujarat was peaceful except Secularists , NGOs, Visual and print ,media created trouble for him in the name of Secularism.

You can google in the website to find whatever you want mr.ismail. Dont copy and paste on this forum to intended to invite abuses towards religion.

The truth what many dont know. The religion what we follows did never had a name. It was a life style followed more than 10 thousand years.

The word Hindu is not a religious word. It is secular in origin. This reagon was always being called as saptha sindhu, bharatvarsha, arya varta.Egyptian also called this land as "the land of seven rivers"
and greek called it as "Indus" this is how we got the name India. All religions born in india were called as hindu, that is why hindus can be boudha, jains and simply hindus too.Afterall what's there in name. But one thing is different from other religion hinduism is an inclusive religion.Anyway Arabstan or Aravsthan is a name given by hindus to the Arabia,do you know that.

I liked this passage. If this being the case, what is the role of religious fundementalists and haters like Modi, RSS/ VHP/ Bajrangdal in the whole scheme of things? Should they be defeated, along with terrorist and fundementalists of all religious colors, in their schemes of bloody religious fundementalism, which is antithetic to the view expressed above?

Any party will be benefitted in long term with people who are not loyal. and the party who accept such people will have no good from them.
It is not a big NO for suresh mehta, it is a big no for anybody who is changing their faithfullness specially during a election on the anvil.
