Faithless bunch
by Debasish Bhattacharya on Dec 07, 2007 04:04 PM  Permalink

This is true portryal of what this faithless bunch of so-called communists of Bengal have hidden in their minds. As a spokesperson of his gang the Bengal CM (sorry to question why he has not changed his name after one of the Dashavatars of which Ram is also one) has once again proved to maintain strict double standards. Every sane person knows what these creatures are. Where was his courage gone when the question of allowing Tasleema to extend her stay in Bengal? What faith he and his gang holds for Nandigram? Is there any except that of illegal muscle power?

What if not?

What is the problem to Buddha if Ram was not existant? Let those who have faith on Rama have their faith intact? Who gave him right to hurt the sentiments of others? These politicians only know the politics and nothing else. Kick these Communists out of Bengal for ever.

Yes you are right. So first give your house for City Development and road widening project. Then talk this bullshit here. There is much space to have the corridor, no need to destroy the Sethu which majority of people have faith on it.

What development are you talking about when you want to achieve it by destroying something that you can never create??

Is it the same development and industrialization that has given you the hole in the Ozone layer ?

Natural Formation - Buddha
by Surajit Dash on Dec 07, 2007 04:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Even Buddha himself is a "natural formation". But still he can exist where as Ram-sethu Cant!! What Irony?

For Buddhadev Bhattachajee, when History Becomes too old it becomes imagination of poets. SAD. I wish he wont say his ancestors were all result of poetic imaginations. Even such a beautiful poetic imagination like Ramayana would be worth appreciation even if it was imaginary. Poor Buddha is lost in communism and power. He has forgotten where he came from and he thinks Lenin and Marx were the only Gods.. Even they are history now... and will become myth in a few years.

Arrey.. foolish Buddha Babu - Even Russia where communism was nurtured like a child and spent its youth, one day became old and died. Now come out of your dreams and accept the truth. If you have so much courage to confront Hinduism, then first do so with other religions.

If you are really worried about the economic growth of the country, try to raise the standards of science and achieve the same without having to destroy something that you have not created and you can never create.

Ram Ram Why u r so serious
by vasant acharya on Dec 07, 2007 04:02 PM  Permalink

It is shame to critise anybodies belief. These politicians are using the Hindu's as their target to get other religion votes. Can communist critise any other religion for same subject matter? No they will never do. They don't have guts. So why are you u so bothered about the Hindu religion?

Why is god the question of contention?
by srikanth pemmaraju on Dec 07, 2007 04:01 PM  Permalink

I do believe that we may not have seen God but it doesn't mean you should not have faith in him or his places of worship.

We still don't know how the Ram Sethu was created if we don't believe in mythology but then its like questioning if God ever existed.

If people say nasty about Hindu religion as being scripted by people for progressing their benefits then people are not mature enough.Probably same holds for other religions ,even for Buddhism.

So we call ourselves civilized just to banish all kinds of religions or people showing faith in God.
How fair is it? You should question yourself before making any remarks towards other religion.

We as citizens of India should be proud of our cultural heritage rather than banishing them for the sake of generations or commercializations.

Please dont fall pray to all kinds of poltical statements.Rather have a mind of your own.It will be a lot better place to live if people dont spread hatred amongst each other.

Majority terrorism is the corner stone of the BJP's agenda. To say "Jai Sri Ram" and kill people whether he/ she is Hindu/Muslim/Christian. In the last few years income was fine under the name of 'Sri Ram'.

There is a difference between BPP and whom you call Hindu fanatics. They try to protect their religion unlike Muslim terrosists who try to occupy your house like a Camel in the Tent.

India was ruled by external forces just because of people like you.

Adopt Buddhism Philosophy
by Lalua on Dec 07, 2007 04:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Becoz... Buddha never claimed

1)He was a Son of God
2)He was a prophet of God
3) He was reincarnation of God
Infact He never claimed there is God!

All the so called Hindu's scripture except Vedas were written after Buddhism prevailed in India. All of them were handiwork of Brahmins so that they continue to exploit other castes.

Karat and Buddha babu's spurious concern for Muslims
by anirban paul on Dec 07, 2007 03:59 PM  Permalink

This says it all .. I am quoting from Teesta Setalvad's blog .. she is surely not a BJP activist .." Shiekh Motaleb, who anyhow managed to rescue his sister Mossamat Akhera Bibi and admit her to the Tamluk sub-divisional hospital in East Midnapore on Saturday, said: %u201CMy sister was pregnant and couldn%u2019t run away when the armed CPM cadres stormed inside Satengabari village. She was severally beaten up and then raped by the cadres. Her two teenage daughters Soma Khatoon and Anwara Khatoon too have been raped and then taken away.%u201D

Apparently this was reported by Rakeeb Hussain for the Hindustan Times ..

After all these, Karat accuses the Gujarat Government of being anti Muslim :)
