Dashavatar, the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, were meant for establishing %u2018dharma%u2019, whenever %u2018adharma%u2019 occurs. Even though it is considered a myth, the scientific facts behind the Dashavatar are now under research. It is said that the ten incarnations represent the evolution of mankind. The 9 avatars so far are Matsya (fish), Kurma (tortoise), Varaha (boar), Narasimha (half-man, half-lion), Vamana (dwarf man), Parashuram (man with an axe), Ram (moral man), Krishna (philosophical man) and Balaram (spiritual man) respectively. The tenth avatar, Kalki is yet to manifest. From the sequence of the avatars itself, it is obvious that it represents the sequence of the origin of life.

Just a quick q? What happend for "Dharma" when first avathar (Matsya) came? There would not be any human beings in those days as per your findings.

The Bhagavata Purana narrates the following tale about Vishnu's Matsya incarnation (avatar):-
"Long ago, when life first appeared on the earth, a terrible demon terrorized the earth. He prevented sages from performing their rituals and stole the Holy Vedas, taking refuge in a conch shell in the depths of the ocean. Brahma, the creator of the world approached Vishnu for help and the latter immediately assumed the form of a fish and plunged into the ocean. He killed the demon by ripping open his stomach and retrieved the Vedas. Four forms emerged from the demon's stomach representing the four Vedas: Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Atharva Veda, and Yajur Veda."

its not hate Swami Ji.......we are just waiting to hear the reaction of CONGRESS's reaction on the BUDHDHU's remark. And no one from CONGRESS will react unless n until SONIA "JI" take initiative. Even if someone comment & disrespect congressee's parent ..........they wont come forward and will wait to see thier MADAM's reaction first.

You are not giving captions like this for Modi who says that he is proud of killing a pregnant women by piercing spear into her abdomen! And here are people who are hailing him and his ideology. We should pround of making poojas before every rocket launch even if they are going down after launch! In our country still child sacrifices are there for getting money.

There is no double standards in it.What I am telling is that majority of people using this forum is not bothered about fellow beings.Communists were not against computers.Their opposition was soley because of apprehensions on job displacement.
Hinduism Exists within the people. It doesnt require testimony from insane people like Buddha. Hindus are sensible people... They know Hinduism will exist even if a thousand dogs will keep on barking.
Why is there no revolution in Bengal like the one that happened a few days back for Taslima .. just because she wrote in some fantasy about Muslims? She was driven out because Muslims doubt their own religion and think that its too brittle that can be broken by a writer's imagination. Hinduism Can't be.
There is a difference between Hinduism and Other religions. All Other religions have a single preacher or messiah - Hinduism has many. All Others have a single religious book.. Hinduism has many.. Its unbound .. vast... It cant die. It was not started by any fanatic .. Its a way of life that has evolved naturally through the years along with human life.
Let people like Buddha try desperately to cling to power by crying like this. Hindus dont bother .. One day he will be history and later a part of a mythology called "Communism".
There are four alternate routs for the cannel project but this pseudo secular baxtxrxs hell bent on hurting the Hindu sentiments. Where this Buddha and Karunanidhi went when the Delhi metro tunneling project deviated from its original rout when the Muslims objected that the vibration from tunneling near the Kuthupminar may cause damage to the structure, but after spending millions they changed the tunneling rout to appeace Muslims. But now in Ramseth we have alternate routs which are cost effective compared to the proposed one, but still they want to destroy Ramsethu. The politicians who speak against the Hindu sentiments must be thrown out of our beloved mother land. My beloved Hindu brothers and Sisters irrespective of state, language, caste, culture etc.... please unite as one force other wise one day we Hindus all over India will face the similar situation of Kashmiri Pandits.

Can anyone please tell me the answer for this. Does the term SECULARISM in India means hurting the feeling of Hindus and supporting minorities wholeheartedly. I am not complaining about supporting minorities, because for me religion is something different. But I feel this is too too much, why this stupidity. Let the people believe whatever they want. why hurting their feelings.
