Musharraf is good at preempting! He does not want Benazir strike a deal with Sharif by offering his the Presidency and she keeping the Prime Ministership and elbowing out Musharraf!
That power sharing helps her in keeping the PMship for a longer time as she can keep her only rival Sharif placated. Army too would not mind as its position is left untouched and Musharraf has become a liability to them also.
Her intention to go to Dubai is to engage Saudis from there and make Sharif agree to that proposal!
Musharraf sensed it and stopped her from doing it and he sitting in Pakistans only leader in power at the moment is spying on all her communications in and out of Pak.
I wonder how long this relationship can continue even after Benazir wins!
US intelligence agencies will help eliminating Musharraf if he doesnt toe their line as they facilitated eliminatin Gen.Zia!
Musharraf has started understanding now what riding a tiger means and feels like!
