CONGRESS IS ANTI HINDU
by Krish Koundy on Dec 10, 2007 12:22 AM  Permalink

Congress is of course anti Hindu. It submits an affidavit in the court saying Ram never existed. It harasses Taslima Nasren for highlighting the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh. It supports Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen in Hyderabad which resorts to violence against Hindus. It doesnt extend any kind of support to Malaysian Hindus who are persecuted by the Government. It handpicks Christians to make ministers, chief ministers and spokespersons. The list can run in to thousand pages. But the ultimate examples is Manmohan Singh announcing that only Minorities have a right over the resources of our country

Mahatma & Patel were not congress but national leaders
by pradeep agarwal on Dec 09, 2007 11:03 AM  Permalink

PM must correct his knowledge of history as Gandhi for this very reason of congress name being misused by his successors urged it to be disbandoned after independence. The Nehru family which now represents whatever is left of congres actually proved him right by misusing it for their personal gains.Congress was a movement created for independence & atleast those who could not even get approval of people even after almost 4 yrs in power should not talk about those who were elected with 50% vote in last election.

What is the Fight For!!
by Contractor on Dec 09, 2007 09:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The word Hindu is not a religious word. It is secular in origin. It is derived from the word Sindhu, which is the name of a major river that flows in the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent. The ancient Greeks and Armenians used to refer the people living beyond the river Sindhu as Hindus and gradually the name struck. When the Muslims came to the sub continent they called the people living in the region as Hindustanis to distinguish them from the foreign Muslims. Subsequently when the British established their rule, they started calling the local religions collectively under the name of Hinduism.

It is interesting to note that the word is neither Sanskrit nor Dravidian and did not originate in India. It was not used by Indians in their descriptions or writings till the 17th century. If we go by the original definition of the word Hindu, any one who lives in the subcontinent is a Hindu and whatever religion he or she practices is Hinduism. The word Hindu is a secular word and literally translated it means Indian and the word Hinduism denotes any religion or religions that are practiced by the multitude of people living in the land beyond the river Indus.

So what is the fight for

You have realy brought a new theory about hinduism and hindusthani from Indus river, perhaps you have not studied properly Upanishad,Bed,Puran ,Ramayana,Mahabharat,Gita by Lord krishna which are 5000 to 10000 yeras old studies of Hinduism .Please dont make mochery of Hinduism .Hindism is the most tolerate and there are no such a particular god people workship.Actually people workship spirituality of different spiritual persons came in different stages in different scriptures of the above books written by various sages and spiritual leaders of that era .Hinduism is a mixer of thousands of spiritual sects existed before all other religions in the world came and preached by different kind of people .So please dont just write lightly about Hinduism. One should study deeply about Hinduism .

Communalism is an Incurable Disease!!
by Contractor on Dec 09, 2007 08:59 AM  Permalink

Communalism is a cancer on society which keep destroying a nation. Communal people have no moral feeling or sympathy to anyone.

Imagine a daily wage labour, a rickshaw puller who work very hard whole day then he is able to feed his hungry children. But these communal antisocial, anti human make thier lives more painful with thier violence and they cannot even feed their kids for days knowing that these poor are Hindu, Muslim and could belong to any religion.

Who cares becasue these communal enemies of country and society are paid in millions by foreign countries agents to harm our great country. They are like parasites.

It's time for people of our country to wake up and fight these forces of destruction with unity and determination before they inflict more damage to our country and society as a whole.

Remember!!

Religious harmony is more important than the development. Both should go hand to hand, or else it's a failed state like Pakistan.

PM defending Congress
by Ashwani Arora on Dec 08, 2007 07:55 PM  Permalink

This is his duty to defend his political party who have brought him this highest office.
It is not possible for even an extraordinary person like Mr.Singh to be thankless to Mam and party which gave him chair. However his utterance, that Congress is not a communal party,or do not have communal bias is not meaningful.Because whole world is noticing and experiencing, how Congress manipulates communities, may it be Hindu or Muslims or Christians for wresting power. They are in fact Champions of communal passions. Now Congress is facing music everywhere, may it be U.P or Gujarat. Not only communally biased, caste based language based, regional based politics have been their trump cards ever since. Now they are left behind.First they set the agenda, drive the communities at loggerheads and then play games of reconciliation. They are good at balancing. But,slowly public has understood their style. Now PM is saying fowl.
He should play like a Statesman and set example for his partymen and women,to behave responsible.

Please vote for NaMo
by samarth bhatt on Dec 08, 2007 05:25 PM  Permalink

Narendra Modi is the leader who can undertake several developmental projects at the same time. One can see the progress Gujarat has made during his tenure as CM and see a difference between the work done by his government and the work done by previous governments. Jyotirgram Yojna, Sujlam Sufalam yojna, Chiranjeevi yojna are among the achievements of his government. Providing electricity to more than 18000 villages in 1000 days is really a great achievement of any goverment. With 24 hour power supply in the villages, the students will be benefited alot by having more time to finish their homework and assignments. Sujalam Sufalam is another achievement from his government. The people of Gujarat knows about the importance of the projects like sardar sarovar and sujalam sufalam because there are the regions in the state where one has to walk for 1 to 3 kms to bring drinking water. There are the regions where one has to wait for the water tankers for hours. Please vote for NM and be sure that he gets another tenure of 5 years inorder to accomplish his vision of Gujarat: a growth engine of India. Prof. Kalam's Vision of India being an economic power in 2020 can be accomplished by the development of all states of India. Please vote for Narendra Modi.

PM attacks BJP for calling Congress anti-Hindu
by Raghavan Kesavan on Dec 08, 2007 07:31 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

PM's sentiments are really good .but what is happenning on the ground is very important.Hindus do no hate otehrs eing treatd equally and fairly .But preferential treatments to minorities over the majority of the people is not found anywhere else in th eworld .In this country , the Muslims particualrly are accorded a treatment which they can not even imagine in any Islamic theocratic state in the world .This all polotical parites do just for vote and this causes divinonamong th epeople .All citizens should have one and the same civil rights in so far as th ematters relating to the statwe and civil common affairs are concerned .that is nt happenning anywhere in India .Even amoing the minorities , there is discrimination .Christians , jains , sikhs bhuddists and host of other religious groupsd are not even thought of by thegovernment even as citizens. this is because the vote strength of those people is not as great as those of Muslims . to avoid such things , all citizens irrespective of his religiona nd caste shouil;d be trated alike wihtout any bias towards any one .that is the secular state. In this country , even th ecommuists play the religious cards for political atrength.
