What right do some people have to protest against "illegal" killing of Sohrabuddin, when Afzal is not hanged even after the Supreme Court "legally" sentenced him to death more than a year back?
I feel that this article has enhanced my respect for Narendra Modi. I personally would like the Hindutva ideology to go forward with changing times. This is the essence of Hindutva. Unlike Islam it does not stagnate in time. I would like India to be a modern republic with people enjoying their hard earned money. I will certainly not like Hindus to live like people in the middle ages.
The Hindu's should be identified with progressive and agressive mentalities.Modi is an ideal for those who think like me. I would hate people imposing ideas of 'swadeshi'(where not reqired). The old guard of RSS typically constitues those who's ideas do not change with time. Ask a hard core RSS person and he would oppose youngsters even wearing jeans! While the RSS commitment to nationalism and spread of patriotic values and work in adivasi area's is unquestionably commendable they should also have room for modern proponents of Hindutva like Narendra Modi. Because these are people who are efficient change with time and pull along people into the modern era while maintaining a basic Hindu identity.

Can any body educate me why Mrs.Pryanka and her husband Mr.Vedheraare exempted from security check. Were they above Army, Navy and Air Forc Chief?The later ones are 12 th in ladder and according to yesterday's news ,now they have also been added to the list. This is true face of congress.

Dear Mahesh, When Vajpayee was in Power, Ranjan Bhattachariya got the same freedom. I don't agree with you that it is only with congress. I like Commies in this regard as they are really simple.

There is nothing to own up, boy. It is a standard practice of police all over the world to 'encounter' hardened criminals who can not be chargesheeted for political reasons. It happens all the time all over the country - but we don't get to know. Sohrabuddin's case was brought up by Congress as they wanted to create vote-bank out of his religion. Please keep in mind that alongwith Sohrabuddin, one of his Hindu accomplice was also killed - but congress is mum on that.

It maybe a standard practice in La La land from which you come Biswajit Ghosal. In a civilized country - good police work ensures conviction of the hardest of criminals. It is only lousy cops who take justice in their own hands at the behest of politicians and later spend their lives in the doghouse - like Vanzara and numerous "encounter specialists" of Bombay police. These cops are used and thrown as they are too dirty.
She starts with "The target of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's high decibel communal speeches...", which presumes that Modi is making communal speeches. Hence all she said must be taken with a pinch of salt.
Modi's speeches are nationalist - not at all communal. Is not the ajan-call from masjids across the country 5 times a day, saying "la ilaha illallah..." and "allaho akhbar" communal? Why don't Sheela write about that?
Sheela is potraying "Hindutva causes" in a bad manner and taste. Hindutva causes are Indian nationalist causes - common civil-code causes. Sheel and congress must stop these pseudo-secularisms.

No - Modi didn't say any bad thing against Muslims or Islam in general. He just wanted congress' making of vote-banks to be stopped. Afzal should be hanged - isn't it? Terrorists must be stopped - isn't it? Poverty must be eradicated in general, but not poverty of the muslims only - isn't it?

Surely Muslims should vacate places where it is proven that a temple or monestary was demolished to construct a masjid. But whatever is written on earth is not evidence. The evidence should be authentic.
It is too late to regret. Modi has ditched all the Hindutva forces, the BJP, VHP and RSS. This megalomaniac of Gujarat, Modi, is an undoing of these BJP-RSS combine. They handed him in a platter all the powers to rule the party. He believed in self development of his personality as the biggest leader and dictated terms. Others in the party including Advani and Vajpayee were hapless spectators. They were reduced and dwarfed by this infamous man. He associated with RSS and BJP got full support and when the fuit came, he said it was because of him. Who is responsible for such a situation?? Its only the leadership at Delhi in BJP. They allowed this political monster to grow disproportionately and did not cut him to size in time. It is now time for them to do some introspection as this megalomaniac has dragged the BJP to such a shamelss situation through his comments on fake encouter of Shorabuddin. He has put the entire leadership into disarray, they are unable to react as Gujarat elections are round the corner. They cannot dethrone him, as it will have negative effect on elections, as Keshubhai has already trained guns for his blood through his speeches and advertisement. The BJP is in total disarry as they are sure to lose the elections. If this happens, it will be because of Modi. Early they cut him to size, better for them to survive in the national scene or else they are sure to to become a third rated party, which they are already. Its good they is self destruction of BJP.

If all the allegations are true then Modi is an exceptional leader who has the guts to do what he thinks is in the larger interest of the people.India had very few leaders of his clibre in its long history.It was corrupt leaders who sold this country to foreigners in the past.
