"Right to Information data collected and collated by activist Bharat Jhala nails government lies and exposes its attempts to suppress the truly horrifying scale of farmer suicides in Gujarat. Modi claimed in a TV interview to NDTV on March 14, 2007 that no farmer commits suicide in Gujarat. A month later, he admitted to 148 suicides on the floor of the assembly. Official data that we finally got in Oct 10, 2007, 5 months after we filed queries, confirms 498 suicides formally. However, even this list is partial as it does not feature several suicide stories painstakingly documented in the film! As many suicides are passed off as accidents, we also filed RTI queries seeking details of all accidental deaths - of the 6,695 farmers who died in "accidents", over 4000 have not been paid any Kisan Vima Yojana money (we've informally learnt that insurance companies have denied many such "accident" claims as many of these are suicides)! Amazingly, on Oct 10 itself, the day the Gujarat gave us RTI data confirming 498 suicides, an official ad released on ETV categorically stated that there are no suicides in Gujarat and people should not believe false propaganda. The ad itself seems to be done in response to the coverage in end Sept and October to our press conferences and the film excerpts we showed!"
Right to Information documents (these are official documents of the Gujarat government) clearly admit that 498 farmers committed suicide in Gujarat. And another 6,695 apparently died in "accidents". Un-sexy story number three. Rakesh Sharma's new film Khedu Mora Re (62 minutes) graphically documents the phenomenon of farmer suicides in Gujarat. The film itself reports 10-12 suicides in Amreli, Surendranagar, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Bharuch and Surat. The RTI data reveals shocking district-wise figures - Rajkot (63 suicides), Junagad (85), Amreali (34), Mehsana (48), Nadiad (44), Jamnagar (55), Narmada (30) and even in Gandhinagar (13), right under the Chief Minister's nose!
can any one answer thsees question., 1. How muslims are anti Indians, 2. how congress is favouring Muslims be precise and tell me, i am ahindu but living in Europe since alst 10 years, so i wanna know it, as i have never seen any policy favouring muslims

That is the tragedy. You refuse to see the good this country is doing to Muslims. Do you know: - Haj travel is subsidised by the Indian government.NO other religion enjoys this privilege in India
Muslims raise hue and cry, a book is banned. Hinus raise objections to some offence caused to their religious sentiments, nothing is done.
Shah Bano case was the beginning, when Supreme court's verdict was nullified by amending the laws, under the leadership of Rajiv Gandhi.....
You can wait for more example. Till then, acknowledge at least these

Haj travel could have been much cheaper if they allowed private airlines and Gulf airlines. They want to take everyone only in the unncessarily priced AI and IA and give subsidy on them. Nowadays more and more pilgrims are depending on private agents than the government sponsored travel. Just for your clear knowledge!

yes, and they would also have got the free food and shelter that the govt provides them for 3 days without questioning.
87% of the Indians arrested for anti national activities are Muslims (Source- IDHQ).
That is the answer to your Question1
I am not saying every muslim is, but on the name of minority muslims are easily provoked to indulge in such activities.

Hardliner muslims only are anty INDIA as they fed propaganda by PAKISTAN &mullas,Congress is bribing hardliner mullas through WAKFboard&is part financing HAJ which no other country does .
Entire BJP including including Atalji & Advaniji are behind Modi.Why is the author after Modi only?Arousing baser instincts of people is easier than appealing to their good sense.After all democracy is all about winning elections.If people belonging to different religions want to kill each other it only provides ammunition to politicians.In case real culprits who incite violence go scot free.And if ordinary citizens want to commit suicide by embracing violence,what can be done?Where are the genuine leaders?
BY reading whole artile one can see real image of power hungry politicians and their supporters and helpless innocent public,who are been exploited in india.
This proves that Modi is coward. Modi, Advani, BJP, RSS, etc are actually started detroying hinduism, these people are more terror than Pakistan terrorists and others.
People must remove these people from politics to save hinduism and India.
This is a clever move by media, by creating a wedge b/w RSS and modi.. But, i dont know how far this article is true.. Its just like hyping of events, to modi's disfavour..
