Well done.
by Rifa Kynjing on Dec 06, 2007 01:34 PM  Permalink

Instead of pointing fingers at every new venture that our scientists and others do, we should feel proud at their achievement. It takes brains, hard work, dedication, team spirit to achieve anyting and this they have done. If we are controlled by smaller countries, it is because we (our leaders are incompetent). Maybe we should learn from these minnows as to what it takes to make them powerful. In a country like ours where coffins meant for our soldiers are used for other purpose, what else can you expect?where our soldiers are not given their dues be it in the field, home and the streets, what are you mr.ajay talking about changing policy etc. don't u know that "pen is mightier than the sword"? indian men have brawn(beating and killing women and men-caste or no caste) and not brains, put the latter to use then probably we will be in the forefront of every international agency u want them to .so pls be constructive instead of destructive.

Good news
by Sincere Citizen on Dec 06, 2007 01:33 PM  Permalink

Considering the "efficiency" and "scruplousness" existing in our govt. depts this is good news if true.

Please no more Gandhi related names we are all sick and tired of those, anything other than post-1947 politician names.

Endo-atmospheric Interceptor missile trial
by Vivek Sadashiv Vadke on Dec 06, 2007 01:31 PM  Permalink

Hearty congratulations to the DRDO team for the successful trial of Interceptor missile in endo-atmospheric condition. Thus we now have the capability for two-layer defense against incoming missiles. Just a question, will these be effective against ICBMs, say, from China ? High regards.

Dr. Vivek Vadke

If we name the missile as ' L K Advani Missile' ,when test fired against Pakistan,it would reach upto Karachi and finally will get defused(instead of exploding)in front of Jinnah's Mazar..a Total 'secular' missile

by kumar saurabh on Dec 06, 2007 01:18 PM  Permalink

We need tight and aggressive defense system in place and missile are a big deterent for surprise air attack....kudos to Indian Scientist for developing it indigeniously, having the interceptor means now we have the capability to "kill" a missile in the air and minimise the damage.....these are the things which makes so many Indians like me real proud.

we all know that we have world's best army, we have well devloped artillary, we can rule the world if we want, but still we are not capable to dominant over pakistan, bangladesh, nepal, all these minnows dominant on us, still our soldiers are killled brutly at border of bangladesh and pakistan, so these is need to change our foreign policy, we have not a good friendly nation, we have't any strong position in UN, our foreing policy have been failed at every front, so plz change the peaceful policy, and adopt aggressive and dominantive policy
