Gujarat's success in agriculture is largely because of a splendid genetically modified Bt cotton output. Since, both the devil and the truth are in the detail, let's get to that detail. First, if somebody cares to look at the statistics it will be clear that Gujarat's agriculture success is because of a lop-sided growth in cotton cultivation. So how did Modi achieve it? Simple. He allowed illegal varieties of Bt Cotton seed to flourish in the rural agriculture markets. How does one find this out? Drive the cotton producing outposts in rural Gujarat. Meet the seed merchants. Talk to the farmers. Go their fields. Go to their sheds where they stock cotton seeds and the cotton produce. The truth is out there. Also remember to talk to Monsanto, the huge multinational behemoth that produces and holds the patent for Bt Cotton seeds. Why isn't anyone finding out how much Monsanto would have lost in revenue because of illegal Bt Cotton seeds? But most importantly why is the department of bio-technology keeping quiet. There is already such an international furore over genetically-modified organisms and even the central government has conceded that genetically modified crops should be grown under a strict regulatory and supervisory conditions. But these are un-sexy stories and so are not reported in the media. There have been many riots in the country during congress regime, no criminals have been brought to justice ever since then, e.g. Sikh where 3000 sikhs were killed and the ocngress govt did every thing to wrap it up. Now we have thos who instigated the riots ( Jagdish Tytler and Mr. Sajjan Kumar) are back in power. Mumbai riots in 1993 during Congress regime %u2013 what is the end result???? NHRC is a great farce. It is biased against mejority.
Of the 81 nominees fielded by Congress, 28 have criminal records.
Of the 87 candidates fielded by BJP 16 have criminal record.
The tally of the candidates with criminal records belonging to the Bahujan Samaj Party, which is contesting all the 87 seats, is 15.
The Janata Dal-United has given tickets to six candidates with criminal records of its 18 contesting in the first phase of polls.
Cases against the tainted candidates relate to murder, attempt to murder, threat to kill, kidnapping and other violent crimes like dacoity, assault, rioting, arson, jail break and financial fraud.
What is the difference between Congress, BJP, BSP & JDU ?
These candidates are going to give democracy & development to Gujarat!
We need leaders like modi and not impotents like congress and commies who protect terrorists like afzal (main accuses in parliament attack) no one raises voice when people are killed by Communists in nandigram.

While the Muslims cry when some of their lives are lost in riots,they keep a religious silence when any other man or woman or child dies from Islamic terrorism.They act as if they are praying for the departed souls but never utter a word against any member of their religion,whether it is a terrorist or a politician(a terrorist in disguise,genewrally).And we see the wailing of Shabana Azmis,Arundhati Roys,Sonia Gandhis,MMSinghs,Arjun (Anjuman) Singhs only when a poor Muslim loses his life,poor Hindus/Sikhs never get any such treatment in our greatest secular nation.

the fact that congress leaders were involoved in the 84 sikh riots dosen't absolve modi of his crime. and no congress leader has boasted on a public platform about his role in a riot. you can hold the grouse that a kettle is calling a pot black. all rioters irrespective of party affiliations should be made to beg for mercy in a court of law. the fact that modi was the chief minister of gujarat at the time enhances the gravity of his crime. he who was constitutionally obliged to protect his citizens had lend support to their cold blooded murder.

Call Rajiv Gandhi 'MR.DEATH' and INDIRA GANDHI AS 'Mrs.Death'.We lived through the slayings of innocents in Delhi riots(1984) when the crown Prince (read Clown Prince) was readying himself to be the PM of India,which he got in a platter.He didn't stop or say anything to stop the brutal massacre of more than 3000 people.Now CBI is trying to clean up the mess by saying in court that there were no witnesses. First settle 1984 killings,then go after Gujarat.While on Gujarat please let us know how the train carnage happened before the actual riots started.Don't leave things that makes for 'secular' India uncomfortable to own up.
