Yashwant Sinha is one of the luminaries who did fabulous job as a FM under Chandrasekhar Govt.

Yashwant Sinha is one of the luminaries who did fabulous job as a FM under Chandrasekhar Govt.

But he hardly gets credit for his role.

At long last, its great to see Yashwant Singh taking center stage. Good stuff.

Even if Sinha mortgages Tathagata's wife to Bank of London, he will vouch that Sinha has done great job. Afterall Sinha is a socialite turned BJPite. How can BJP-RSS give him credit?

We really missed George Fernandez in this debate. That proud & self-respected man was stripped at US airport, not once but twice! Parliament would have liked to hear about his integrity & self respect!

Your language "Tathagata's wife " shows how facist, ugly people have filled psuedo rank.

No wonder, a good dosage of beating will get the ghost out of your thinking.

Oh my language!

I borrowed it for sometime from you & your BJPite friends. I drop it now with apologies.

But donot drop the points I made. Do you have no answer for them?

I hope your language will also improve. Some samples are available on this messageboard!

ANTI-BJPISM IS DEAD.

Beat the drum, as well as implement MUSLIM RESERVATION - both does not work.

Announce Kerala State Award to MF Hussain, as well as throw out Taslima for Muslim Vote does NOT work.

Just watch how these psuedos are thrown out.

We have prosperity now, but what life do we want to live ? We will drink in the evening, be interested in multiple women, do anything for money. Somewhere inside we're secular too. After political ideology, what religious ideology do we want to follow ?

Who was it who pledged Gold in UK to get Foreign exchange for 1 weeks Crude supply to India. At least MM Singh got us out of that humiliation and now India is sitting pretty on 250 Billion $ reserves.

Count it On Chowdhury Charan Singh & V.P Singh.
Both Brought India to a begging bowl condition.
Both were PM as well as FM and did worst things to India.

READ TWO ARTICLES WHICH APPEARED IN THE INDIAN EXPRESS AFTER DEATH OF CHANDRASEKHAR:

One was by Pratap Mehta.
Another was by Jerry Rao.

Chandrasekhar & his team deserves more credit than what is usually given to him.

Leaders must take into account the state of environment; WE MUST SHOW THE WORLD the way by becoming SOLAR SUPER POWER
by pragya nopany on Dec 04, 2007 10:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is really pathetic that no one is pointing towards the REAL target. To me, FOSSIL FUEL, HYDROELECTRCITY & NUCLEAR ENERGY- are the 3 biggest demons and anybody supporting them is actually killing the planet. The big question is: Why nuclear when it can't give more than 6% of our total energy needs(and that too by 2011)? How long will we bear the the bruises of ignorance and slavery? There is something terribly wrong with the mindset of our leadership and the people. Everybody knows that the NUCLEAR WASTE MANAGEMENT is IMPOSSIBLE, but still we Indians continue to give logic in favour of the Nuclear energy. US has not built even a single nuclear reactor after 1979 and wants to sell us the 'rejected and HAZARDOUS technology'. And we have closed our eyes and proving our 'progressive attitude' by singing songs of praise for the Nuclear energy. Have we gone really mad? As Mr. Lakshman Singh of BJP pointed out in LOKSABHA on 28th November, 2007, there is only one safe, economical and the best way to all our energy needs: Solar and Wind energy. To quote Mr. Chetan Upadhyaya of SATYA FOUNDATION, "If at all, we want to save the world from further environmental degradation, WE MUST ADOPT SOLAR & WIND POWER, NOW. Otherwise all our slogans on Environment will be slogans only." Will the people cool down and listen the truth Or continue to be slaves? PRAGYA

Pragya >> Solar Panels as well as Wind power turbine can be individually installed.

So go and get it done on your Roof top and also ask this guy Laksman singh or / Chetan to do the same and than tell us how much investment / Capital cost you made to get your house up and running.

It is easy to give SERMONS and stop others from doing anything constructive.

today India is aspiring for 7% Nuclear share in electricity. Tomorrow you will be forced to go to 50% as Crude oil and Coal will be finished and Global warming will submerge India coastal cities.

BOSS, REAL ISSUE FOR CONGRESS/CPIM IS NOT ENERGY. ITS MUSLIM VOTE.

CPIM IS WRECKING THIS DEAL FOR MUSLIM VOTE.

CONGRESS IS NOT TAKING HELP FROM BJP TO PUSH THIS DEAD FOR FEAR OF LOOSING MUSLIM VOTE.

ITS EXTREMELY COMMUNAL POLITICS WHICH IS NOW HOLDING INDIA AGAIN AS IT USED TO DO IN 1930-40s.

It is sad no one is looking towards India's Energy needs
by ASHOK on Dec 04, 2007 08:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP wants UPA out of power so it is using CPI/Congress rift to bring down govt..

Commies want to dance to China Town so they do not want Congress to work out a deal with USA

OK Fine >>> But what about India's electricity needs when You can not go for coal based plants because of Global warming.

You can not go all out for OIL / Gas / Naphtha as Crude oil prices are jumping through roof.

Solar & Wind power are no answer to BASE LOAD electicity requirement and also are damn expensive.

Hydroelectricity is rain dependent as well as capital cost intensive only option is Arunachal Pradesh. All else is almost utilised. And you can not haul Arunachal Pradesh Hydro to Down south.

These politicians have really Killed the issue. They are wasting time.

Let Modren India face 20 Hours power cut in domestic supply. It should start with New DELHI
Parliament and MP's Houses.

I talked to one of the current BARC Directors.
He was fully in favour of the Deal.
But he also admitted that BARC itself has two lobbies and has diffrrence of opinion.

In such circumstances where Govt can not take decision ( Collective decision) I believe Congress should stick to deal and let Commies withdraw support and we face Re Elections.

Let us see what BJP does if comes to power.
If it fails, than BJP top leaders should be publically prosecuted.

Why Atal Bihari Bajpaye anounce self imposed ban on any further Nuke testing. Now what BJP wants.

Going by image of BJP in international arena and your personal dismal track record of Yaswant Sinha, nobody is going to offer BJP's government a nuclear deal which is anywhere near to the proposed deal.
