Subramanyaswamy does not have public support, somehow he is heading Janatha party. It is better for BJP to go polls without his alliance. After BJP victory, Subramanyaswamy will claim that "BJP came to power because of him". I remember Subramanyaswamy was Commerce minister in Chandrashekar Rao Govt. No one can do anything to Sri Deve Gowdaji or to his party. He is the most cleverest politicians India had ever seen. He is pure secular man not like congress guys.

As long as Sri Deve Gowda is alive, BJP can't come to power in Karnataka.

By your name it is clear that you are from North Karnataka. Though even I want the same, coming from Gowda's base in Mysore-Hassan area, it is impossible to wipe him off unless Congress and BJP get more prize catches like GT Deve Gowda. BJP has zero Gowda base and Congress has S.M. Krishna and D.K. Shivkumar who are no way competition to the mighty Deve Gowda.

Devegowda protecting our identity? Hi brother, are you dreaming? all they have through these years is protecting their own near and dear.
If there is a honesy enquiry, one will be shocked by the amount these politicians have amassed. Unfortunately, every politician we can think of, has been involved in the dirty game of making money. So each one is conveniently silent when it comes to really pushing hard for investigation using due process of law. They just use them as threats to silence each other...
What BJP badly needs is a vokkaliga (Gowda) base. GT Gowda can easily fill in that place. However, I don't think he can win the election but certainly succeed in splitting the Gowda votes helping Congress win the seat. If Gowda base is gone what else is there for Deve Gowda ?. He can then take political sanyas. If BJP wants to come to power it has to shed its image of Brahmin-Lingayath party.

Sanjay, Do you which party has more number MLA's from SC/ST and OBC -- it is BJP not Congress. Just being a Brahmin-Lingayath party cannot win elections. It has lots of support from backward and tribes in north Karnataka. Example is Bellary where SriRamula belongs to backward tribes. Out of 30 SC/ST reserved seats in the state, BJP won 16 seats.
I am sure in JDS only lunatic father and his two iditotic sons will remain in theie party.Actually the Governor did a mistake in asking Yeddy to prove majority within ten days.If we look at the "each MLAs affidavit" submitted to the Governor as well as the President of india, the floor test is not required.It may be required after few months if opposition moves no confidence motion. I feel that father and Sons and the Governor along with Cong-I behind the scenes played dirty tricks just to avoid BJP to rule.
