Jail the radicals
by SkShazid on Dec 03, 2007 06:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Jail all of them who thinks religion is beyond national interest. It is bad to offend our Imam but he should be thrown out. They have never added value to Islam or mankind. Religion is for mankind not the other way round.

I remember one imam asked the voters to vote for BJP. i think his name is also Imam Bukhari.
This may be a trick. Taslima matter is now receding. Some people who dont want this case to calm down making all sorts of efforts to keep it alive. so that he tension reamains till election.
we know taslima is in india for more than 6 months. why suddenly this matter surfaces.
God knows better. Wait and see.
watch the fun.
i am sure after election is over the fun will subside

no reaction on taslima's plight from the likes of mahesh bhatt, teesta setalvad, shashi tharoor, the NDTV gang, . All quiet...?

had this been a pro hindu extremist( remember the baroda university case where a painter drew a derogatory image of a hindu god), these people are all over the media.

Also include Rajdeep Sardesai, All TV news channels' readers,Shaban Azmi, Javed Akhtar, TOI, Indian Express Editors, Barkha Dutt, Gurusharan Das, Vinod mehta of OUTLOOK and Karan Thapar, Karuna Nidhi. These are cowards who can dare to provoke Hindus only, because we have been tolerant. Let them show some solidarity with Tasleema. All of them gone into hiding and covering their impotance and shame.

BTW - all the channels have shown solidarity and extreme opposition to extermism - Rajdeep and Sagarika have been very good in this regard. Vinod Mehta is the only journalist who published all of Taslima's articles in toto. You must realise that the secularists are beaten up by both the goons of bajrang dal and the goons of Islamist parties. That is a good sign as it shows even handedness in opposing religious extremism.

is the indian govt secular as it claims?
by Karthik R on Dec 03, 2007 06:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Otherwise, the existence of Taslima Nasreen shall not be tolerated by the Indian Muslims and the entire responsibility of the consequences shall rest upon the government.

how come we get to hear such comments from a leader?
when similar talks against ram n sethu were made
by karunanidhi, the hindu clerics gave a similar fatwa (like the muslim cleric) and they were criticized by many for doing so.
y is the govt so biased when they call themselves secular?
