Mr.Cleric, in our country, everyone has freedom of expression. When you muslims sees it as an 'offence', what is the stance that you have for what has happened to the Hindus that Taslima highlighted? If Taslima had written anything against Hindus or other religions, what would have been your reaction?
Mr.Cleric, you and such very narrow minded people, please just shut your filthy mouth, crooked mind-games and if you can live in India like an Indian, you can live; else you are fee to go to Pakistan or Malaysia or any other country that supports Islam.
As it is, this country is turmoiled by various communal problems; whether that be Hindu or Islam or some other fundamentalists and we are all so fed up. Allow this country to become developed in all spheres and not pull it down.

I have not heard of even one single Islamist leader say with clarity whether they have read themselves those books and found what is 'anti-Islamic' in them. Every one of them says she is anti-islamic.
Is Islam so feeble that it can fall apart because of the writings of one Taslima, one Rushdie?
What right have Islam preachers to claim that Islam is a religion of peace and it provides for equal rights for women. A religion whose courts order 200 lashes to a rape victim, is a sham. That judgement exposes the hollowness of Islam.

Abey stupid.. Religious sentiments are to be protected. Discussion and debate on religious matters can be held, but these must be conducted in decency with no abusive language. This applies to followers of all faiths. But this Stupid feminist just going astray about religion...

Muslims and Islam is the two different things. If someone writes agaist Muslim (community) than it is exceptable but if someone write agaisnt Islam (Religion) than it is not exceptable. I have not read the book, but if she has highlighted the issue of Hindus in Bangladesh than it should be exceptable, but if she has written something against religion, then she should apologize.
who are indians?? are they hindu, muslims, sikhs, etccccc or they are indians. i dont know why do we have a constitution as nobody follows it, everybody follows some leader or the other leader, whether they are good, bad or ugly..... indians just dont know how to respect themselves not even constitution holds any respect with them. the problem is spin less leaders irrespective of any political party they just thrive on cast, creed, religion, race gods, rather than goverance. they give free hand to any of the religious leader or sect leader to kill anybody as they themselves posess the licience to kill. what i read during my school days that we indians have some fundamental rights and freedom of speech is one of them but it seems no where, few days back mayawati's of the world objected to few words in a sond, today shahi imam has objection, sometime back congress has problem with some PLAY whereas BJP/VHP/Shiv Sena has hatred with Valentines Day and so on, and these intelligent people keep on banning something or the else. These people go on rampage destroy public property kill innocent people and live life king size. god help this country as even all the countrymen are just blaming either Shahi Imam and asking him to leave the country...... what the hell rather than talking about the root cause of the problem they are also blaming someone or the other JUST LIKE OUR GREAT POLITICIANS..... guess even politicians are just a reflaxtion of the society. so its high time we

According to Shahi Imam of Delhi's Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari, singing Vande Mataram is against the Islam, because in Islam nothing is above the Allah including motherland. This sort of statement particularly dangerous of our country specially the word called Secularism.
If we take his statement, in Islam Allah is above every thing including motherland, mean if there is war with any Muslim country, we should not trust Muslims? As per Islam if Muslim kills Muslim is against Islam. But if we look at our history its not the case many Muslims had given their life for this country, and still love to give every thing for India

Taslima is a writer and only through her writings unfolded the misdeeds of fundamentalists which cannot be compared to blasphamy. If I criticize the misdeeds of the fundamentalists, it cannot be tantamount to insulting any religion or Almighty. Such fundamental forces always existed in the History. I wonder whether any Muslim will like to name his/her son as "Aurangjeev" because he committed many misdeeds as a Muslim fundamentalist. So whenever, you become a fundamentalist of any religion, you tend to commit mistakes/ misdeeds.
To my opinion, Taslima should embrace Hinduism and appeal for grant of Indian Citizenship, so that she can stay in India without any fear.
