US wants India to be its subordinate ally: CPI-M
by Attatar Yena on Dec 07, 2007 05:12 AM  Permalink

The left is opposing this deal only on ideological grounds - the left is anti US. They are not opposing because the deal could harm India's long term interest.Their decision is not based on what is good or bad for India. So in short comies are selfish towards their ideology even at the cost of India's benefit. Commies should not talk about loyalty to India - They and they are teh only ones here who salute Mao and his Reds..
The lalus and Pawars and other in the coalition are not with Manmohansingh because they do not have the guts to face an election now ( in case commies pull the govt down). These coalition partners are selfish too like commies- selfish and greedy for power. Certainly India's interests are not included in their decision making process ( I am neither saying nuclear deal is beneficial for India nor I am against it for the reason that I do not know exact implication of this deal - some of which would become clear only after it is and if it is implemented). I am more concerned about the decision making process of the coalition partners in UPA. None of them have India's interest in mind - though they are taking great pains to make it seem as if they have only India's interest on mind. As for BJP - their opinion and stand does not matter..

CHINA'S INDIAN SUBORDINATES TALK THIS?
by Chandu Chakori on Dec 04, 2007 08:52 AM  Permalink

CHIAN'S INDIAN SLAVES TALK ALL THIS? THEY HAVE NOTHING LIKE NATIONALISM. THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IS A TRUE COMMUNIST COUNTRY BCZ INDIA IS NOT METHODICAL COMMUNIST COUNTRY. THEIR LIMITED COMMUNISM'S HARDSHIPS ARE SO WELL CONPENSATED IN A DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF INDIA,THAT THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT COMMUNISM IS.

This is a very ominous development,
by Ramesh Nittoor on Dec 04, 2007 06:55 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Expect that such assertion has been made in some kind of specific knowledge to which we civilians are not privy. If it is not then restraint would have been a better option, for this only debases their standing amongst serious thinkers.

If it is indeed serious then they ought to summarily withdraw support to UPA immediately before any further long term damage to hard won freedom takes place.

In all probability all that will happen is that the statements of this respected person will be taken hereafter with a pinch of salt. This erosion would not be a gain to BJP or any other party, this degradation of credibility would be loss to the institution of our democracy.

We may not agree with the policy nor the ideology, but most of us would surely like to have politicians who can be respected and taken at face value. Democracy is better served that way.

The N-deal, given the circumstances, and the security risks to which India is exposed, rapid growth in force project capability of China and the commonality in demcoratic and Constitutional values between India and US, plus the inherent bias for having voted with our feet, so to say, appears to be beneficial to India, and would lead to fast forward in terms of economic and social growth.

Congress & BJP should set aside their differences over the nuclear deal & forge a common front to defeat the anti-national communists who are undermining national interests. They are suggesting a common understanding or framework of foreign policy & security concerns so that India can maintain continuity in policies on crucial national issues. People are disappointed with the Left parties all-out war to derail the process of building Indo-US strategic partnership. K. Subrahmanyam, a noted defence analyst went to the extent of urging nationalist parties to forge a common front against the Left parties in Parliament on the issue. This is most unlikely to happen not because there are fundamental differences on the issue between these parties but because of the Congress party%u2019s inherent fear of losing Muslim support if it were seen close to the BJP on any major issue. That partly explains why the Congress never tried to seek BJP support on its policy of liberalisation. The result is a major set back to economic reforms for India. Finally Chinese have made India a Chinese slave. Kick them out.

Its the worst subservient Indians that are slaves to an undemocratic-crooked-foreign-ideology called marxism, and because of which it makes them align with India's arch enemy called China while preaching morals sitting in India...

If such traitors, who have sold their hearts and minds to enemies, are saying anything is bad for India, then it must actually be good for India...

hydro projects
by Mallik Sharma on Dec 04, 2007 01:39 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I want to know why some persons like Pragya nopany consider hydro electricity as a demon. I think it is the cheapest and if it is limited to medium and small scale dimensions it can be very eco friendly too. Some innovations must be made so that even small and medium hydro electric works can be made more efficient so that problems of submergence, displacement of people etc. are kept to the minimum. I would like people more knowledgeable in this sphere to enlighten me about the possibilities and pitfalls.

well, she's an environmentalist. As for your question, the main problem with Hydro electric plants is its meagre output. the investment you make doesnot justify the amount of power output from it. Moreover, the functioning is based on a lot of variables that sometimes are not reliable themselves. Thats why most of India's power comes form the thermal powerplants instead of the hydro electric powerplants. you could say that building a hydro electric project purely for the electricity is a thing of the past now.

The US can wish that india will be subordinate to them. The commies from the Chinese Party of India(Muslims) wants india to be flat out suborinate and never take its rightful place among the commity of nations.

In their earlier avatar as the communist party they practised a philosophy that was morally bankrupt, ethically inhuman, inept, impractical, draconian and financially miserable.

I wish that Bengal which has produced great many stalwarts in the past will produce enough voters who can be brave to present themselves at the voting booth for the next elections
