This is bigger truth of QURAN than any other distorted, misundestood, or mis-translated verse of Islam.
A religion which demands from muslims that THEY WILL ENSURE SAFETY OF ENEMY WHO ATTACKED THEM, should enemy agree to give up fighting can not be one that will order muslims to kill common non-muslims
There one ignorang blogger here who says that muhammed threatened oman state.... Yes he threatened only people who threatened them... When muhammed invaded any land he let people who want to stay live in peace and people who wanted to go leave... he did not impose any barbaric law over his enemies... When he invaded mecca he asked the same people who stoned him when was in mecca to stay and even gave them protection and here people havent read anything make false claims just like how their ramayan and mahabharath are..

Your statement itself shows that there is a wide gap and disparity what you preach and what you practice.The word kafir itslf shows your attitude towards others of non-islamic people.Have you ever thought about why Islam and Muslims only is having problems and why you are the most hated people in the world?I think you should seriously think rather than blaming others.One more question, why amongst muslims, a majority of them stiil living in poverty and illiterate?Why is there so much violence in Islamic countries against the minorities, why is it that no one has the right to express his voice? Why do you treat women ,including your mother's so badly?Why is it that you never say or protest against terrorism? Think about it.

There is no distinction like own religion & others' religion. Every religion is open to questions & comments by everyone! You don not have a copyright on Hinduism & Taslima does not have a copyright on Islam. Thats freedom of expression.

should i assume you have monkey brains our prophet never impose religion on anyoneelse he just spread message of god .The first message what he conveyed to people was to belive in one god becoz if the universe from the day it was created upto now is in equilibrium which means sun,moon have risen and set accordingly with no changes till now it means there is one super power to control and not crores of gods

PETER, Muhammed PBUH did indeed threaten all Kings and Tyrants. Islam had no scope for their existence. They had imposed their writ merely on strength of SWORD.
Glorious Islam challenged them, and chased them away..... BUT...
this movement must not be confused with Islam peacefully approachin common man...common non-believer. This was exclusivly aimed at War lords, tyants and Kings. These elements were active obstacles in Islam taking its message to common non-beliver in their state.
After Islam chased away these obstacles, it never approached subjects in violent manner. It only presented to them the message in humble, peaceful and loving manner. It is just another matter that most of such subjects prefered Allah over Monkey Gods, or elephant Gods that they worshipped before

Now you suddenly fled your previous allegation, and jumped to new one. For sure, when I answer you on these new ones, you will jump to something else. But you will never defend any of your position in steadfast manner because your understanding is all flawed. Quran is much deeper than its text. Anyone reading it without knowing context ('Nuzul') of each verse is bound to sound silly like you , and many many others
