When Indians in Malayscia were beatenup, this minister had taken such a long time to open his mouth after shouting by MPs in parliment;because Malaya Indians were Tamils whereas he visits Bengaladesh personaly to enquire the cyclone affected people because they are Bengalies though the same Bengaladeshies entering into India and exploding bombs on innoncent people; this is the culture of congress and congress will never come to power in Tamil nadu and this the reason people lost national integration.

Dear Arun Arya you are 100% correct and today congress party is zero; no patriatic and knowedgable leaders in congress leading to persons like Rahul commanding the party and only the communist party is the political and economical adviser to congress party as it does not have their own advisers.Communists are basically terrorists and supporting all the terrorists in the country and covering their true aim with party name.

For your kind info malaysia is not our neighbour country, nor it is in a natural calamity that needs someone to visit. If someone outside of our country says abt naxalites, maoist, etc, we dont take it in good prospect. So dont be in a dialect

They are not indians. they went there 150 yrs back and now they are citizen of Malaysia. Indian should be concerned about them for the sake of human rights and nothing more than that.. i agree with your other comments.

In India people are slow to realize the truthas maximum are illiterate, dont want to research, carried away by politicians and other fanatics and sear ignorance.
this bangali has all the time to go and see his bangalies even if of a nation who has been pushing terorists into our country , and has no time to even ask about the plight of our INDIANS BROTHERS (WITH WHOM THIS BENGALI HAS NO RELATION) who were beaten-up in malaysia.

This idiot goes and shows support and gives aid to bangla. The thankless Ba5ta**s who got independence with out help sends jihadis and illegal immigrants to our country who cause security problems to us. In recent times every terrorist activity in India is doneby Bangla jihadis. Bangladesh never accepted that there are illega banglas is India. They kill our soldiers and treat their dead bodies like trash. evry now andthen the bangla leaders spew venom on India. Shame on our leaders and people who elect them,

Oh c'mon. These are probably the poorest peopel living in the most pathetic conditions. India must take the responsibility to be the soft power in the region - the fight against terror includes winning hearts and minds of people while using strong military means against the real culprits.

I have some reservations about Pranab going that way as a foreign minister of India. But what i find amusing is this definite BJP gue named himself christian!
Geopolitically, India is the most dominant power of this subcontinent. It aspires to be recognized as such by the global community, and wishes to take responsibility of a permanent seat in the UN Security Councl. In view of this, being the most dominant regional power, India must help all its smaller neighbours -- Nepal, bhutan, Thailand, Mianmar, Srilanka, Pakistan and Afghanistan -- in overcming their difficulties and becoming modern nations. Only this will benefit India on the long run. If the neghbouring countries become poorer and remain undeveloped, India can never achieve peace and prosperity, because the neighbours' problems will overflow into India. Also, other ambitious rich global powers like China, Saudi Arabia, US and UK may quickly rish in to help India's neighbours and to set up their strong bases there; and it will be strategically dangerous fr India. Helping the countries in distress is entirely in line with India's noble humanistic heritage. All neighbouring nations are ethnically Indian, whatever faith they may belong -- Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist or Christan. Their basic outlook to life and ways of living are more or less identical, barring some superficial external symbols. They all have the culture of Brihat Bharat, unlike Western culture. Even otherwise, India will globally stand to gan n prestige if it helps countries which are facing serious crisis.

I am not sure Pranabs offer to adopt a few cyclone affected Bangladeshs villages would be accepted by Bangladesh for the same reasons cited by you!
If they dont it would a slap on Indias face; but one has to take a calculated risk.
