I agree that there might be some objectionable material in the film and it should be corrected. Therefore, the governments might be correct in their approach. But, why don't these governments ban rape, corruption, red tapism, negligent driving and other such social evils? Why is their reaction on such matters slow (if at all i.e.) ? Why dont they set up an example and punish the perpetrators of such crimes on a faster basis?
RE:What was the remark in the song?? anyone?

only that line! then what abt that song in vidhata "saat saheliyan khadi khadi..." it was more vulger and derogatory to the 7 professions.
This is possible only in India. So many people are having extra time and easily misguided by politicians to run after this cast and religions..it seems india needs another 60/70 years to come over this cast and religion issues.
The caste/'profession' gets defined by birth and worst still since India does not have the concept of dignity of labor, certain professions got labelled as extremely lower category. People who were born into families practicing these professions were then forced to lead a life full of insults, humilition, fear, opression and torture. If they were talented in other areas (more cushy professions) then opportunities were stolen from them, unjustly, causing mental anguish, pain and emotional truma not to forget extreme poverty. Haven't you read about the story of Eklayva from Mahabharata? It's a shamelful event and Guru Drona must have been a first class racist who would have put Hitler to shame.
Now even when someone from the lower caste gets into a better profession or business (like Dr. Ambedkar did) the people from upper caste having bigoted mindset cannot tolerate this. Very strangely, instead of feeling joys that fellow citizens are getting out of poverty and misery, these bigoted individual continue to taunt, hurt and insult even innocent people. When the bigots do these evil acts, not once do they considor how wrong and unjust their acts are. Why? Becuase bigotry and racism have made them like animals, feeling no compassion, empathy and having no lack of justice. They cry about the Mughal atrocities on Hindus but show no sensitivity to their own atrocities of many more native Indians. Shame!

The bigoted guys have an utter lack of empathy, compassion and sensitivity. God's chosen people? Well, this concept was invented in the middle east so you know from which country the people claiming to be 'God's chosen people' migrated from.
And in case the bigoted-ones feel they didn't migrate from the Arab world then this makes the caste system a moot point! But I think deep within they know hence the caste system refuses to go away.

Kumar either you dont know Eklayva's story or porposfully wrongly accusing DronaCharya to be racist or castist what ever.I have seen several films showning Brahmins,Land Lords Hindus in bad light.Infact many tamilian atheists are proud of Brahmin bashing in tamil movies and serials. What is your say in this.Only christain padris and nuns are always are depicted as kind loving caring people,Iam yet see a movie showing them in negetive light, after all they have so many dark sides which must be exposed.
I have not heard of hindu caste people callling themself only choosen once.Hinduism is grounded in the principle that irrespective of skin colour, cast, nationality, faniancial status, sex people should strive for moksha. Not only human beings even plants and animals are entitiled to moksha.

Patil's brains are in their knees. That is how Brahmins use them! These Patils have forgotten Vithhal Ramaji Shinde, Karmaveer, Jedhe & Jawalkar. Patils once again love to lick the feet of Brahminical hegemony!
If this same song had been released some 50 years back, no one and no one's cousin would have had any problem, leave aside the question of banning it.
The current 'minority' appeasement is a form of dramabazi and is just a vulgar indulgence in selfish political correctness.
On second thoughts, maybe its a well planned gimmick on the part of the movie's promoters..... Negetive Publicity is publicity after all, and without political instigation such protests are almost not possible in the first place.

if 'mauchi bhi sunar ban gaya' is the line of dispute in aja nachle, then u r correct. even bhahman and patil communities should be agitating against it.
Are we really so DESPERATE in our efforts to be blind deaf and dumb that we start 'seeing hearing and speaking' "Meanings out of everyword uttered by every other person. We undoubtedly have become - MEAN CUNNING AND CRUEL BEASTS, we are devided on every front - meale vs female, Urban vs Rural, Region vs Region, caste vs caste, tribe vs tribe, religion vs religion,Maalik vs majdoor.... have we left any two unopposed pairs? even wifevs husband...GOD ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...OR IS THERE MORE YET TO COME...!!!?!!!
