In Indian constitution, there are list of castes are included in Govt Gazzete to be regarded in the category of Scheduled Caste or Schedules Tribes. If any caste not figuring in the list cannot be called as Sc or St. So caste is the main criteria as per Govt rules. Govt gives jobs quota if they are figured in Sc or St category. For monitory benefit they can be called in their caste name but not in film songs. What a tamasha these politicians making for their own benefit.

Reservation are Justified for Needy Dalits who are discriminated. But well off Dalits should be kept out of this provision.
I come from a comparatively better off background. So I never used my Dalit certificate for getting any facility. I competed in open and did well. Bettet than the so-called upper caste people on several occasions.

The requirment is for Free Education, Free Food, Free study materials , Facility for shelter, Facility for livelihood for alll LOWER CLASS PEOPLE. IRRESPECTIVE OF CASTE, RELIGION. 60% of the people below poverty lines are from SC or ST category. There are many from MUSLIM, Christians and HINDUS - upper category below poverty line. But people want reservation only in the name of caste or religion not in the name of Economical Class

when there is no shame in writing dalit and mochi on admission form and job forms and asking reservation in name of mochi then how does it bring shame thru song
when u feel ashamed or hurted by hearing your caste name the stop writing it in forms and stop asking for reservations

i have suffered under the reservation policies in the states of karnataka and maharashtra.i have seen people scoring far less in the exams getting the plum seats. i would like to ask the masihas of social justice, what have i done wrong to deserve this.what is my mistake that i was born a brahmin. i did not ask for it.it was a matter of destiny.why am i being victimized? what is my mistake??????

so now on no one should call doctor but only by name because it is derogatory to call someone by profession. its all about mindset. we need to tell people that all professions are respectable rather than prohibiting calling professionals by its name.
I remember one old song probably sung by padmini kolaphure "Darji nay choli Thung Kar Di"... So what about Darji's now??? They were asleep then ????or were people not aware of constitutional clauses then?????
