preserving Ram Setu.

I feel the supreme court is the one sane voice of reason in a country chock-full of pseudo-secularist hindu-bashers. We must stand together and preserve our precious hindu heritage or let the coming generation pay the price of our follies. The choice is ours. Jai Hind!

Talking of beliefs, in the present Kalpa, Treta Yug has come and gone 28 times. That means that the Ram Setu has been built and destroyed at least 27 times. So why bother if it is broken a twenty eighth time.

A correction. 28 Treta Yugs have lapsed in the present Samvatsar, which is 8th in the present Kalpa. It means that in the present Kalpa, 73X7 28=529 Treta Yugs have lapsed.

U R right... We do not have pride in ourselves and our heritage... That is the root cause for this problem. If we need to respect anything that is ours, then it should be told by the West.. like Yoga, Havans, even medicinal values Turmeric etc. a nation without self respect and pride cannot be strong or become a super power.

In place of Ram Sethu if any Muslim monument?
by amit nilakhe on Aug 31, 2007 04:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Just imagine if anything related to Muslim monument in place of Ram Sethu. In that case will congress take decision to demolish that. Even NASA has proved that Bridge is thre between India & Srilanka .

This is happening in India because Ruling party know Hindus are not united.
Hindus, Lets be United to save ourselves.

Dear brother,

Atleast these is path way connecting the island with the main land. Already one place of worship has been demolished and the demolisher also ruled the country, which also happened during the Congress regime at center.

Learn the religion and comment and not the people of the religion.

No man made structure between India and Sri Lanka -
http://www.financialexpress.com/news/NASA-debunks-Ram-sethu-myth/207424/

This is what Nasa has to say. Act like an educated guy. Just dont go about saying anything. Use a little bit of all the education you've received and try to find out facts before opening your mouth.

I'm also a proud Hindu but that does not mean I start cooking up stories. Bhagwan Ram is said to be "Maryada Purshottam". Try to uphold the principle of Truth followed by Bhagwan Ram!

Good order from SC
by Dream Girl on Aug 31, 2007 04:55 PM  Permalink

Irrespective of religious belief, I think the sethu is something of a marvel whether man-made or natural formation... This is as precious as coral reefs, the Himalayas and other mountain ranges... We can not destroy nature in the name of development... Hope some sense prevails in the minds of Mr. Baalu and he does not plan to pull the sethu down only because it has a Hindu connotation... It is a great thing that our ancestors knew about the sethu and an ancient document of Hinduism talks about it... Let us save the sethu irrespective of religious beliefs or otherwise...
