He is one of the senior delegations representing India in the US. He must have the wisdom to act to his age and designation. He can definitely voice his concerns, but must know what he needs to speak. Every word that he speaks will also have an impact of Americans over Indian parliament. If he can get away with just a mere apology, then what if other people in responsible positions does the same and then just apologize. If Ronen Sen is let scot free, so must be the constables who shook their hands at the jail with Sanjay Dutt. People who occupy responsible positions must know their limits or must face consequences. So Mr.Sen must now face the consequences for his irresponsible act. An apology does not mean he can have the last laugh!
As per our constitution, the MPs should be the representative of the public. On the dash boards across all forums, I have seen that whenever it is any person vs politician, everybody comes up to support the person. Same is happening in this case as well. Majority of people are supporting Ronen Sen. I was only wondering, why do we elect those whom we hate the most?

I have busy day today. I have lot of pending works because of over concentration of this web site. Select what is good for the country growth. I don't want to run my computer in UPS or Generator for 10 to 18 hours per day. Do what good for the country. In politics also, anywhere & everywhere we can see corruption. So, acting like a true genuine pearl in matters won't solve our problems.
Are we the ones who really elect these representatives?
The educated, articulate people (like you and me) are a big minority in this country. No politician worth his salt approaches us for our votes because we have lost faith in the system and have been avoiding to cast our votes. So the politician knows that it is a waste of time to seek our votes. On the contrary, he seeks the votes of the majority, who are illiterate, inarticulate and are sure caste their votes (if not they bribe the voter to take his vote).
So, in effect these politicians are not bothered what a Kaushik or Balaji thinks and writes.
By the way, just because they are our representatvies, it does not mean they are above criticisms and brickbats. Infact, they should be happy that they are criticized less even though their actions in Parliament (as shown live on TV) are a shame. The Parliament looks deserted most of the time and even when there is quorum the Speaker has to reprimand them comparing them to school children in kindergarten.
That is the nadir that our politicians and our Parliamentary democracy have reached.
I feel whenever Official for administration speaks to media...there is nothing unofficial about it. Its always official. Only thing its matter of reporting it with name or reporting it as information from authentic sources. Watch Yes Minister or Yes Prime ministers...this is exactly how they function
Nothing will happen to Ronen unless Left wants to settle score after getting to his scalpagainst consenting the nuclear deal. (some satisfaction after creating such hullabullo over nothing ).

Guys! He did say truth. There is no doubt about it. But it is not the arena. He is the Indian ambassador for gods sake. He needs to spread the Indian goodwill and cannot tarnish the Indian image by telling such truths. I live in US and I see Americans laughing at it. It is very bad. Do you guys hear any crap spelt by the ambassador of US to India against its senators? Hell no! Certain things are not to be told in the public when occupying such a prestigious and responsible position.
