BJP was playing pure politics at the expense of India's interest by denouncing the deal.With massive public outcry against their and Left's shenanigans BJP is trying to save face.
It is a great deciscion , on the part of BJP to correct its stand on 123 agreement.By intially opposing the agreement , BJP has clearly send enough signals to government , that there should not be any compromise protecting our national interests against the American interests. Now by softening its stance , BJP was able to assure its middle class supporters that it can truely NATIONALISTC and FOR IT - NATION COMES FIRST. - M.RAMAKRISHNA RAJU, VISAKHAPATNAM, ANDHRAPRADESH.
With growing economy the size of Indian middle class has also grown larger than the last decade. BJP, Congress and the SP,TDP,ADMK third front should not have any truck with the left. If they did they cannot assure the voters that their proclaimed election promises or policies will surely be implemented and that the Left will not hijack the functioning of their govt.
India rapidly go with American-Japan-Australian-Singapore ally. Joint millitary exercise will go on Sept. 4-9 at Vishakhapatnam. UPA fulfills BJP's dream. People are so frustrated with UPA governemnt's anti people policy. BJP leaders have no worry about it. They worry about huge profit on 123 agreement after 2009 Elections.

The nuclear deal was intiated by the BJP! All the rest is bunk. Particularly if you look at the antecedents of the President.

Don't worry about the BJP. Go and worry about the relationship between the Congress and the traitorous Communists.
THE BJP president, Rajnath Singh, has charged the Left parties with not being serious about their opposition to the nuclear deal. He has cited the unwillingness of the Left to join hands with the BJP on the issue to substantiate this charge.
The Left parties opposition to the nuclear cooperation agreement with the United States has been clearly spelt out from the outset in 2005. We do not share the views of the BJP on the matter, since their approach has been to bargain with the United States for a favourable nuclear adjustment while accepting the status of a subordinate ally of the US.
The six-year record of the BJP-led government was infamous for its kowtowing to the US. The Jaswant Singh-Strobe Talbot secret talks, the visit of L K Advani to the CIA headquarters and the eagerness of the NDA government to become a "natural ally" of the US to the extent of considering sending Indian troops to Iraq, will not be forgotten by the Indian people.
The CPI(M) is certain not to have any truck with such a pro-imperialist party.

Perhaps the CPI-M will side with parties such as the Communist Party in China or the Workers' Party in North Korea. In fact, by opposing the nuclear deal, that is what they seem to be doing.,
Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Venkaiah Naidu, Sushma Swaraj are the new leadership? not even one of these are mass leaders. none of them can win a lok sabha seat in their own constituency. Who is the future leadership of the BJP. The few mass leaders like Uma Bharti are kicked out
bjp has not opposed the deal. can all these opinion writers get that part straight? i doubt they ever will. bjp has been merely asking the govt to come clean on the deal from day one, which is what all hindus should want to want. usa has contradicted mm singh's "solemn" words spoken in loksabha. so, if you can't trust a pm in loksabha how can you trust him at other places of photo-ops where he he speaks half-truths and packaged-lies? well, thanks for writing a non-article ganguli ji.
We have credible evidence... Muslim Keralites in gulf on the instructions of Pakistan have transferred massive amount money from Dubai to the accounts of left parties. Left has been bribed into opposing India's national interests. Pakistan wants to sabotage India's friendship with America.
We have solid proof and this sting operation proof will be released to media in a day or two.

No one is allowed to do terrorism. If that is the case, we have external threat, we have to upgrade our machinery. We cannot tell threats & leave our poor for ever w/o electricity.

Communists have been made into slaves by China & they follow Chinese orders implicitly. China does not like India getting stronger. Muslim Keralites in gulf, on the instructions of Pakistan, have transferred massive amounts money to the accounts of Islamists & left parties. Left parties in Bengal & Kerala have been bribed into opposing India's national interests by opposing the Nuclear deal with USA. Who is there for India? I hope BJP/RSS/VHP/Shiv Sena will support Indian interests.
