Mr. T P Sreenivasan, I wonder if you know what this nuclear deal is all about in its entirity, well I may be knowing even lesser than you, if its so why the hell are you talking abt common man's decision on the deal go home buddy kill your time there, dont waste our precious time here, we need to write a lot of blog...
Pkl. Afternoon 3.20pm, Aug. 29, Wednesday, 2007. Srinivisan is quite formally correct in two ways: one that Indians including erstwhile NDA govt in 1998 was not willing to unilaterally flex its Nuclear arsenal to the hilt, and was looking for a way climb back getting business and other advantages from western Nuclear Weapon states, two , in case we dislike US policies so much as the current Loksabha is in doubt to what extent US policy seeking unipolar Hegemony and which is subversive of our emerging economic muscle ,lately acquired, then let the popular electoral majority clinch the Issue for the present weak-kneed Manmohan led UPA Govt. This will show the reality to comrades where they stand in affections of their fancied people, or NDA-Wallas and their uncompromising Nationalism that they parade , if the population in general does or does not care for this stance. No doubt the rational neat solution does not suit any body in Indian Political ecology. It premises that they are sure of their support structures in our electorate ,well as it is ,hardly any of the factions could be too sanguine of their desserts in case new lok-Sabha is sought to be elected right, now, on the issue... our MPS love their clout in deadly politicking with least willingness of risk-taking..D. Goel
as a matter of fact this formula stands next to impossible,b'cause 85% of population are rural people who might not be knowing what is 123 aggreement.besides they are much more involved in their local issue.the so called saviors of today's india wo'nt go to them with this issue and there enough dunk in the shed as because each cattle is stoolling
What does a common man know what the deal is ?...Probably even most of the politicians involved may also not know the ifs and buts, and you are saying let common man decide... A completely Non-Sense view... A deal of National interest and having so big long term consequencies should be handled not by people, not politicians but by a team of extreme knowledge who go through the integreties of the deal and then make a report so that the same can be discussed further.

In all these discussions no one talks about the enlightened and educated people in the UPA who surely know what they are going in for.
Look at our population. The illiterate far outweigh the literate and the literate have no time to read your n deal. We have a government who is empowered to deal with such matters. Let it take its own course. Even if it means election well this is part of the system. The Left is left in a quandary. They cannot back out as there is more to it than meets the eye. Sorry Mr. Sreenivasan - Your idea does not hold water!!!
