Follow science and forget religious divisions
by Ram Sharma on Aug 29, 2007 06:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

in this age of science, people should follow scientific approach. all religions have superstitions and outdated beliefs, which cannot b scientifically proved. why should anyone rigidly follow what was written in some book thousands of yrs ago? if mohamed was born now, his views would be different.

follow yr own religious beliefs in yr home and forget about religious divisions outside homes.

it is strange that educated muslim youth also get misguided by the jehadis. it is the duty of all muslims to rise against fundmentalist ulemas and jehadis. they should believe in secularism, just as is being done by most of the hindus in the country.

our country has a sikh pm (though puppet of sonia), a christian lady as the most powerful person of the country as UPA chairman and till last month our country had a very learned muslim as the president. but did u hear any noise on this issue anywhere in the country? the muslim brothers and sisters should also learn from this for the sake of peace.

religious divisions r not made by the god. one god is there for whole of universe. but different people believe in different gods. some strongly don't believe in god. as soon as a child is born, it is said that it belongs to the religion of the parents. so religion is not chosen by a person, it is forced on the child on its birth. hence do not bother about the artificial religious differences.

believe in brotherhood of all the people of the world. all r one. learn to love each other.

My Dear Ram
As a Hindu u can think 'n' believe in brotherhood bcoz we have a dirty broad mind , but this is the time to change our mind like our so-called brothers (i.e. muslims & Christians).
Don't think dat much broad dear.

mr. ram,

science has done research by going through the religious book & all the new envent has been done through & rightly said there is only 1 god, so we should not consider science as a god.
still science doesnt know after death where our spirit live.

Yes, my dear friend,
What your analysis makes sense. In your concluding sentence, what you have spoken of 'brotherhood' and 'love each other' is also a part of the basic Islamic tenets. There is good in each religion, but the followers do not properlya adhere to the basics. Narrow minded people give different and conflicting interpretations to the religious tenets, and it creates discord. If only, all of us learn to live on the basis of the blend of the best of all religious faiths...

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajashekhar Reddy believes the terrorists are unable to digest the city's growth and Biriyani
by kanigom on Aug 29, 2007 06:34 PM  Permalink

Yes The CM of Anhrapradesh is right by saying that terrorist are jealous of Hyderabad's growth. He also should have said that Terrorist are also unable to digest Hyderabad Biriyani and hence bombing the place.May be the CM CAN CHANGE Hyderabd to some remote areas like Nellore or Vizianagaram so that terrorist will not have digestion problems.Or simply he can offer potential TERRORIST some antacid like gelucil or garlic.

Yes, the politicians are always paranoid; they think that the terrorists are destroying their 'good' work, instead of squarely accepting the fact that the malaise is very deep, what with Islamic imperialist designs across the world. But why, there were blasts in Bangalore also some time ago. Anyway, the terrorists strike anywhere in such a way that maximum possible destruction is wreaked.

by Mukund on Aug 29, 2007 06:31 PM  Permalink

This is a game of few politicians from one party who for self gains and self popularity divided our nation on religion but did not ensure 100% transfer. Many politicians with this residual effect still exist in one political party. Common man is targetted for nothing. This can stop only by defeating such forces in election.

True. This is why you are taking such hefty taxes from us to take care of us. If you cannot secure us or provide us with basic needed amenities then stop taking taxes.

city growth
by Bharat Kumar on Aug 29, 2007 06:30 PM  Permalink

Is CM proud of the attack by saying that city growth is responsible for terrorists attack. Lets believe city is growing, but how about the security? There is a big question mark on it. This attack are clear indication of security lapse in the state. My request to CM please give top priority to this, then we can claim that we are growing...
