dont ever compare rajneesh, ravishankar to shankaracharya and saibaba. They were divine, but rajneesh and ravishankar are not babas or divine, but they are spiritual gurus

I am surprised that you have such a good name & you are giving such a low level comment. In fact you are good person but you are in ignorance. You dont know the power of Indian religious philosophy that can turn a King to a Sant & he would leave without any luxury with happiness. As a suggetion you visit wwww.krishna.com down load Shrimad Bhagwat 5th Canto & Read Life of King Bharat on whose name our country named. It will certainly invoke the Light of knowledge in your life & you would also become like Ravi Shankarji

Perfectly said. Incidentally this noble soul who was on his way to a Tsunami affected village in Tamilnadu, made a U turn with his expensive Mercedes, and scooted like a bat out of hell, when he heard a rumour there was a second Tsunami. It is rumoured someone had to perorm Sudarshan Kriya on him after they found it was a false scare. If teaching the rich to breathe and that too at a stiff price is the way to God, very few people in India have will attain moksha. Incidentally, the poor have no place in Ravi Shankarji's scheme of things. What beats me is that there are educated Indians spending their time and energy after such false Gurus and Swamis.

you and your stupid western education can never give any peace of mind or spirituality. All that education was meant for bullshitting people into making more money. Please stop saying that education is the only savior of mankind. I dont mean that poor should not get educated but in the name of education you idiots are bent up on eroding a beautiful culture..

by the way sharpshooter.. swami means a learned person not GOD himself that he would be able to stop a Tsunami and save people. He would have to save his life too. By the way the people of the village themselves might have evacuated after the second warning so stop being duplicitous in your arguments!!!

You are negatively charged person, Develope the attitude of gratitude, you will come up in life, Just do not assume or critice some one or somethings. You do not have the capacity to change even one person, When this person is for some mission support him. No one cares for your comments.

Well its easy to talk mr karthik. If you were really able to reach within and find the god and peace you wouldn't be so sarcastic about others. Different people have different ways.. learn to respect that rather than trying to be judgemental and preachy.

That is the difference between the Indian philosophy and the rest of the world. In India, we believe in diversity of faiths. Every faith is considered a way to finding God. Sri Sri has always been articulating that one must honour all religions while going deeper into his or her own. That%u2019s the real essence of spirituality. There is so much strife in the world because some people believe that only their way is correct and only they will go to heaven. Driven by this wrong philosophy of heaven, they are creating hell in the world.
Iraqis, or for that matter nobody needs to change his or her religion to be peace loving. All they have to do is become spiritual and experience the oneness of God. One who realise the oneness of God will never harm somebody just because he or she belongs to another faith. That%u2019s where Sri Sri is making big strides.
He has been able to bring people together. All said and done, it%u2019s not an easy job to get Arabs to come for a spiritual training in India. That way, is a big beginning. He stands for peace and love and people everywhere can feel it. Hence, even Arabs accepts his teaching. It should be matter of pride for every Indian that great soul like him has taken birth here.

Well said and wish it all comes true and I agree that the Indian culture has come closest to accept this truism but you'll agree with me that even India is far far away from achieving this ideal. All this stems from the basic problem with organized religions - that they all claim that the right path is only found in their books. They claim that following other books or other paths to achieve God are heresy and in some cases punishable by death. Unless a fundamental change is achieved by everyone in understanding and preaching of organized religions worldwide - we're left to live with these unnecessary problems in the world. In the meanwhile all we can hope for in this hell is some respite from people like Ravishankar and more thoughts of wisdom from people like you - Rajaque.

I see that a lack of proper education has caused you to speak irrationally. My comment above, if read carefully, speaks of the freedom Iraqis are enjoying on account of the US intervention. Even footballers were tortured for not playing well in Iraq under Saddam's rule. I doubt that Saddam would say, "Lets send some people to the art of living course"

My dear, Everybody knows Hinduism is not a relegion, but its definitely one of the best ways of life which is derived from sanatana dharma. Again sanatan dharma has nothing to do with any faith.
Sanatana dharma means encompassing all and never changing. So, who has this characteristic!, this characteristic is only carried by God, everybody agrees ...right.
So to realize God and hence dharma/relegion you need certain guides, gurus and scriptures.
Now, i hope you will agree, scriptures are written books and are subject to mis-interpretation as any written and visual material.
Just like we cannot understand maths and science just by reading them we need cirtain guru's and guides who will teach us the fundamentals and then further we can learn on our own under his guidance.
So now all the scriptures are written books on the same subject by different authors based on their experience received from GOD and Gurus/Prophets (real gurus delve into God, they are one with God irrespective of what faith he was born in and what faith he/she followed.).
So its a matter of prarabdha and your past karma which will help you identify a real teacher, guide or guru whichever name. Only condition is that if your guru happens to be a realized one, he will assist you throughout your journy to realize God, just like a good knowlageable teacher helps his students to specialize and excel in his/her fiels of interest.
So let us wait until we find a real Guru, who will clear all ou

I was in Jordan to meet Sri Sri . He just returned from Jordan. He said after seeing him and talking to him , the Mullahs were very happy about sri Sri's mission. Only one mullah from Basra told him not to teach in Iraq as they would lose their hold on the youth! But man, you must see his disciples in Jordan- Jordaneans, uae nationals, Palestinians - all so happy and enthusiastic. Te Prime Minsiter Malaki told Sri Sri taht thjose in his office who have donethe AOL course never stop smiling. He asked Sri Sri '' what you did to them''? You are so dumb taht you cannot open your mind and seee what irais have experienced Ravi Krishnamoorty

Noonkaaf,
Your idea about hinduism is ZERO. You are on the outside and not even trying to look but commenting on it. Its like the blind men saying the elephant's different parts were a rope, a tree and a snake.
I have attended advance course of art of living and must admit that I am a beneficiary of this great movement. It is beyond words that the experience can be explained. I welcome all others too, into this world of happiness. I hope the whole world would be benefitted through the messengers (teachers) of art of living.
