We need a McCarthy in India o exterminate communist rodents like Praful Bidwai and Karat. They should be shown no mercy and should be shot without trial. Communists are traitors and the only way to punish treason is a bullet in the head.
If you lefties want people to hear, first stop your anti-Hindu/india platform... The trouble with you lefty is that you have too many agendas, which often conflict with other.. you only come out as jokers... Rediff should be congratulated for giving the opportunity to laugh at praful bidwai.. Do not know why he even comes here, but whenever he comes, it is always a comedy....
It is indeed curious that Mr Bidwai who just about always takes a stand detrimental to India's interest, chooses to accuse critics of the Communist stand as McCarthites. Clearly, he does not see any merit in the Communists' arguments on the Nuclear Agreement. Frankly, if Bidwai is against this agreement then it got to be good for India !
It seems you can go to any extent to support the Left's stand on any damn thing, howsoever illogical may your explanation be, go shave your head in shame!!! There was a time when i respected your word on disarmament, but that time is not now and never will be!
1. "Manmohan was begging Karat". The less said about the mental faculties of a person writing such non sense, the better, but let us see what would happed if the lft does withdraw support (as against the "issue based support" bullshit): There will be general elections and whatever happens to Congress the left will lose both seats and influence. The fact is after a lot of circus the left has backed down. 2. "An attack on left can be dangerous to public debate": by all accounts all over the world and by what happens in West Bengal every day I can not help but conclude that any attack on the communists can only help public debate. 3. "Left is driven by ideology and principle" ha ha ha ha ha ha .... Perhaps RSS/BJP can be accused of havng an ideology (however flawed) but the left, he he he, mate what were you smoking when you wrote that? 4. "Government's errors of commission are much graver": I don't see a single covert "error of commission", whatever the terms means, in this whole piece. And if the author is upset that the government voted against Iran let us remember that this government is duty bound to protect the interests of Indian citizens, not those of Iranian citizens. The left (synonym for sinister, which means, well, sinister) never understood this I believe. 5. "Dr. Singh pays lip-service to disarmament...": Really what is the issue here again? Are the communists criticising the deal because Dr. Singh can now give India 300 warheads every year?
The nuclear deal represents a 'wordsmything' exercise that will destroy our environment while generating 3% of our total energy needs. What will we do with our nuclear waste ? We dont have a place like Nevada where tons of nuclear waste can be dumped. Just like the many 'radioactive' rivers that flow through western countries (please read the book 'Laying waste'), we are preparing for our rivers and environment to be destroyed through radioactivity that will refuse to decay for thousands of years. This deal makes economic and military sense but doesnt make indian happier or healthier than before. To me, thats what matters more than money !!
It's an open secret that this Bidwai fellow is a Commie through and through and always has been, so it's no surprise, his farcical pronouncement, "..there is no 'live' contact between The Left and the Chinese Communist Party.." He must know, though he does not deny or rule out non-live contacts, like phones call, mail, drop-boxes or other covert types of contacts. Knowing his Commie antecedents, it comes as no surprise his 'advice'.."that the UPA must susupend further negotiations on the deal..". And his hatred of all things Hindu is well known to all and sundry, so his visceral opposition to the BJP is to be expected. He'll find a good home at 'The Hindu', the 'unofficial' mouthpiece of the Bangla Commies - he could become a staff writer.
