I don't know why we downplay Pakistan. This country is a reality. It's been sixty years Pakistan is surviving after all its economic, military and political problems.

The only time their very existence was threatened in 1971. Their defeat was more of political than military, though, it fianlly ended up in the form of surrender in East Pakistan.

Since then, they have learned a lot. At least militarily. In stead of excepting Indian supremecy, they became bitter enemy of India. Their military power in conventional weapons capability is now threatening for us.

We should not take this cruise missile threat lightly. These weapons if fired from air crafts will be very difficult to threat and neutralize.

Imaging, Pakistani F-16s or JF-17 Thunder can take these Air Launched Cruise missile righ into the backyard of India. These aircrafts with air-to-ari refueling capabilities will be in a position to go deep into the Indian Ocean and than turned towards India to deliver this deadly weapon to paralize our war making and supporting infra-structure with deadly precise accuracy and lethal detonating force.

Our refineries, powerplants, dams and amunition factories can be pinpointedly attacked even as far as South India.

Our large size, in fact, has put us in disadvantageous position vis-a-vis Pakistan. Why? Larger the coutry, more difficult to defend it if its defences are stretched too far by using high tech force multipliers.

more chinese paint wasted..
by Peter Parker on Aug 26, 2007 12:33 AM  Permalink

Its amazing isnt it, that the paki tests never ever fail and that immediately after 1 test the missile's are all operational.
Well duh its the chinese missiles, painted in paki colors right. So then whats the use of this MTCR etc supposedly of which Chin is a member but never seems to really care about?
Thats why we should never bother to sign any such stupid treaties e.g MTCR, NPT, CTBT, FCTR etc. All these treaties are being completely flouted by China and the US instead of going after the chinese want Indian's to be corked.
Thats why MMS and / or Sonia Mano are western spies. They do not have the best interests of india at heart.
