We respect justice system
by murki suresh on Aug 24, 2007 12:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We have lost hope in the political system which is too partial to some sections of people just for the vote banks.

But we have hope in our justice system which is good in giving impartail judgements.

I am sure if a politician is allowed to give judgement he will ask for religion of the person and he will immediately allow 10% free quota for some sections of vote banks and he will release that criminal immediately just for vote banks.
That's why we hate our politicians.

But we respect our justice system.

Thanks

God bless India.

by Rohit Kumar on Aug 24, 2007 01:41 PM  Permalink
Firstly we should not blindly respect Justice system. We all are agree on the point that there are lots of flaws in the system. Those all needs time to time changes as our ociety is also changing. Everything is same which was defined long back.People don't have fear of this system, rather they knowss flaws in the system which they are using for their personal benifit. Punishment should be such that it should give right mesage to the society so that that kind of act/crime should not happen....What lesson our society is getting from all these drama;s happening now a days....
All this needs to change ssome day...

Salman judgement
by deshmukh m on Aug 24, 2007 12:53 PM  Permalink

Again people are fooled. Media will make money over making sensational news. Appeals to higher courts will take 10/15 yeas as apperent in cases belong to bigwibgs, ministers or people with higher connections. Meanwhile some of the wittnesses will die, some will retreat bact, hence the judgement somewhere in 2022/2025 will come-FOR LACK OF EVIDENCE & IMPROPER PRESENTING THE CASE BY PROSECUTION, THE ACCUSED IS ACQUITED.
Fine judegement by Indian judiciary

Law is Equal for everyone

Salman should face the judgement. As he has committed the crime he should be punished for that, Law is equal for everyone whether he is a
Filmstar or a Common Man.

No he is not a commom man, anyone who has achieved something in his life, and is leading like a true citizen should have leniency. Moreover he has not done any crime, he has hunted only Chinkara, it was hunting animal few years ago, now a banned animal. If killing of an animal is crime, about one million goats are daily slaughtered in India? no punishment. Since has has killed a banned animal, instead of giving him jail, he should be punished heavily and contributed in national fund.

Dear Kuldeep,
You are emotional (from your blind hero-worship), not logical. How can you say, Salman Khan is innocent? Have you witnessed the court proceedings, the lawyers' arguments, and gone through the copy of the court's judgment? Do you think that you are wiser than the judiciary which has elaborate procedure and ipso facto specializes in such matters?

If people are murdered, there are separate criminal laws to deal with such cases.

With man's increasing greed reflected in deforestation and mercilessly massacring the wild animals for egotistic pleasure and for shameless lucre, many species are endangered with extinction. And our ecological balance is threatened to the extreme, which will ultimately be suicidal for the humanity. Don't you remember the case of the extinct dodo? (If not, read about it.) That's why, the government has earmarked some forest stretches as sanctuaries so that the wild species are protected and bred at least within those confines. Poaching in the sanctuaries and some other notified areas is banned under law. Hence Salman's act was not only illegal, it was also cruel, defiant, and anti-eco-spirit.

Above all, the attitude of wishing to treat a criminal as innocent - on the ground that there were more serious crimes,- if pursued to the logical conclusion, results in utter social anarchy.

Yes, the law in INDIA says;
YOU CAN KILL 6 to 8 PEOPLE UNDER YOUR CAR BUT NOT A BLCK BUCK.
After all we have judiciary working in INDIA. This case can like others go for 10 / 15 years with no result

Salman Certainly Deserves Punishment...
by Jean Claude on Aug 24, 2007 12:52 PM  Permalink

People like Salman Khan who kills animals for fun and hobby... should be given imprisonment for atleast 5 years without any Mercy!!

If our law is not strong enuf when it comes to people like Salman or Sanjay Dutt who have lots of Money and Influence to get away from such cases, then its HIGH TIME that OUR LAW SHOULD BE CHANGED!! No Doubt about it!!

Wat do u say guys???

What is punishment, about one million goats(souls) are slaughtered everyday in India.Chinkara was otherwise for hunting about few years back. Salman has not done deceive any one or done any crime, of course he has killed the banned animal, instead of putting him jail, he should be fined very heavily in the interest of the country.

You are emotional (from your blind hero-worship) and confused, not logical. How can you say, Salman Khan is innocent? Have you witnessed the court proceedings, the lawyers' arguments, and gone through the copy of the court's judgment? Do you think that you are wiser than the judiciary which has elaborate procedure and ipso facto specializes in such matters?

My dear Arun, Can't you see the distinction between the large population of common animals like goat and sheep (which are multiplied for meat's sake) and the rare species? Of course, I would only be very happy if slaughter of all species of animals is banned, but it is a very tall order considering the non-vegetarian population.

(If not, read about it.) I fully support Mr ArunGopal Agarwal and wld add other animals (to his list) which are slaughterd every day ie Cow,Buffolow,Chicken etc..Why differece between banned animal and othe animal.
Govt can Fine hevily the person/s killing banned animal and use it for their protection.
No point in sending any one behind bars and wld not achieve any thing.
