So it is not the slimy media or paparazzi which sourced the objectionable snaps, it is our very trustworthy law-enforcement system which must have sold the snaps to the ever eager and irresponsible media. Whether Monica Bedi stands to advantage or otherwise is a separate issue. Wasn't it so very easy for the SC to have in the same breath issued directives for the Home Ministry, to have investigations done and the culprits booked for their act or has rediff provided us with insufficient information once again? This has happened after Monica Bedi had already expressed her apprehensions on this matter in print in the TOI and probably other newspapers as well during here jail period. It is not right to even jocularly assume that she is using it for publicity. She should be only punished for and to the extent of her violations of the law not beyond, especially not on assumptions. Was it not enough for the jail staff to have had their salivas pouring out of control and imaginations working whilst manipulating their groins over the sight? Did they need to also sell the photos to prove that law-enforcers are above the law and show their tongue to civil society, challenging them to do something if they have the guts?
Monica is probably laughing in glee at all this free publicity. Notoriety is not such a bad thing - don't be too surprised if you see her soon in some Bollywolly flick playing the role of gangsters moll, wearing even less.
How contrasting. The half life before prison, she spent in showing off her body. & now, she objects to her body being shown on TV (shot while in Prison.) Wow!

It's cruel and the most contemptible uncivilised behaviour to peep at a woman in a bathroom of a jail. The editors of the channel that broadcast this picture should be put behind the bars and those jail authorities who sold these pictures should be given exemplary punishment. These cameras were placed for the security of the jail but not for voyeorus eyes! Shame on those who find justification on this disgraceful act.
Its disgusting to note that some private TV channels are stooping to such low levels that it is time there should be some code of conduct for them> Not only that, thes e channels in the name of investigation show all nonsense, obscene photos...as a prent it is very embarrassing when such phtoes suddenly come up while unsuspecting parensts are watching news ..
