Mayawati as PM
by BN Goyal on Aug 29, 2007 10:12 AM  Permalink

In past we had a vert honest, sincere, down to earth, truthful, tru Gandhite, but later on became over ambitious politician. He remained confined to the provincial politics - UP. Indira Gandhi made him big by putting him in prison during emergency and he started taking airs about himself. Ultimately he became victim of his ambitions, was entrapped by Sanjay Gandhi by assuring him false support in Parliment. Thus he ditched his own mentor or leader - Morarji Desai and became PM with the promised support of Sanjay Gandhi. Lo the support was withdrawn on the morning of his first ever parliament session as PM. He could not face the parliament, resigned then and there and left his progeny to wander around in search of a place. He was none other than Chaudhary Charan Singh whose name appears in the ex PM list by default not by his own merit or actions or achievement. He did not the country beyond UP. Mayawati should take a lesson from the history. God bless this country.

Centurion Maya celebrates as sycophants bowl her over
by Bodh Ramdeo on Aug 23, 2007 10:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hope this Maya dingbat wins the next elections and become PM, then Indian Govt would become one huge 'taamaasha', what with the entire budget being spent of Maya Day parades, Maya buys a new dress party; Maya Birthday bashes with her butt-licking, grovellig sycophants competing for her favors, coming up with monstrosities like million-pound laddoos, trillion heads of roses bouquet, millions of carats in gold jewelery, million-dead strong discordant, noisy, squabbling music 'bandhs' etc., etc., etc.
OOOH, the babus will just love her - they'll never have to do an honest days work ever again. Yessireee, hope she wins - just think of the yearlong festivities galore, and everyone will so happy having a good time, they'll not even have time for 'mischief'.

Maya's extravaganza!
by Shridhar Iyer on Aug 23, 2007 06:12 PM  Permalink

Aug 23, 2007.
It is an unnecessary tamasha which could have been avoided.

We don't know whether she will win and form the next Govt at the Centre. Therefore any talk of doing this or that when I will become the PM at the Centre is too premature and immature.

She mentioned that she will build a huge stadium and also a memorial for Mr.Kanshi Ram, etc. Let People rememember leaders by their deeds and not from their status and memorials. It would be good for the people, if she spends these amounts in building some Engineering & Medical Colleges, from where people can study at reasonable fees, and contribute to the society, after passing out.

With best wishes,
Srinivasan.

BSP property will be traneferred to Mayawati's family
by Maneesh Agarwal on Aug 23, 2007 05:46 PM  Permalink

If construction of memorial for honourable Kanshi Ram takes place, then that property would be 'handed over'/gifted to Mayawati's brother.

Polly Wilson and Mayawati
by biz Narayan on Aug 23, 2007 04:42 PM  Permalink

There is a new sense of desperation in Polly Wilson article, which is quite strange. She should identify herself - If he/she part of a CPIML style foreign backed outfit or to which outfit does she belong. Is it possible that Maya doesn't see any threat and ignores ideological mafia for sometime ? Is it possible that she is doing some good after all ? It is just a guess after reading the desperation in Wilson article.
