Congress will be routed in next election
by Anand Krish on Aug 22, 2007 02:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It will not get single muslim vote and votes of self respecting Indians if it pawns the country to america. Comrades - go ahead the 25% Muslims in India are solidly behind you along with the poor. Comrades can mop up atleast 125 MP seats if elections are held now.

First thing, the Left parties will never wish to have another election nor they will give a chance to BJP if UPA fails in Parliament. So ultimately the comrades will go with Congress with some face saving modifications from which they are or we Indians are not at all gaining out of it. It is a compulson for them because for them, the 123 Agreement will be less evil compared to BJP forming a new Govt. in a changed scenerio. Wait and see comrades like Basu opening his mouth on the issue. Come what may, BJP will not be allowed to gain out of the situation.

who exactly are these Left ?
by Gumpy on Aug 22, 2007 02:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Friends, who are these left that are opposing the Nuke deal - lets get to some history about them...
1. these left are the same people who had got several Indian freedom fighter arrested during World War 2, 1945-46, at Soviet Russia's instance.
2. these Left are the very same people who has taken China's side when 1962 Indo-Chinese war broke out. They even raised fund for Chinese soldiers in India.
3. They had called respected freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Bose "DOG."
4. Today they want to stop the Nuke deal the instance of China's Communist party.
Can we Indians trust these very same Left with India's national interest? Decide for yourself, but only after carefully going thru Left%u2019s history.

Is this not wonderful that Forwad Block, which was founded by Netaji Subhash, is presently a tail to CPM/CPI who called netaji as "Dog of Tojo".

why to blame communists
by balaji srinivasan on Aug 22, 2007 02:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the 123 to be oppossed fullly.we should not have any relationship with US, a country which invaded IRAQ without UN sanctions, which is oppossing INDIA for becoming a permanant member of UN Security council, which is supporting our enemy country pakistan headed by a undemocratic dictator.
For our energy needs we have the rich resources we have the technology and we can use our all resources including SOLAR, WIND , HYDEL, THERMAL etc.ofcourse we need money but it will be less than what we need to spent from importing uranium and even any short fall the same can be made good just by raiding the black money available with the politicians.

the other way is instead of 123 agreement get US help to become permanent member of UN security council with veto power and after that follow the footsteps of US and invade whichever country having wealth and plunder the same.

Mr. Balaji,

Listen, even if u agree or not we are still a very poor country. We need help of US and all the devoloped countries. Lot of multinationals fr US have come to India ( their interest only ) and has provided so many jobs which Govt of India has created in last 60 yrs. When I graduated, it was so scarry whether I will get a job or not forget about a good ones, just a job was great. Now the young guys have so much choice and at least they enjoy their college rather worrying about jobs.
Just Imagine during Mandal Agitation so many lives were lost for what 40,000 govt. jobs and see today govt is advertising to jobs.
If we want to devolop, we should be clear in our mind, who can help us in progress is our friend no matter what his or her credentials are.

who helped us to solve kashmiri militant's problem?

usa pressurised pak to abandon kargil mischief, to stop support to kashmiri militants.

before 9/11 we were suffering from militants but could not do anything to pak, who was behind it.

(we r not able to catch dawood, hope america will do something)

I am told that in last 40 years we have not been able to develop technlogy to use thorium for this purpose. It is always best to be self dependent, but until it is achieved help should be taken. Less bad is better than more bad.
