The question is not the nuclear deal. It is about our sovreignity. the question that is to be asked is should our policies be decided accoring to our national interest or that of the Us. it is apalling that that we have a PM that misleads the parliament and the people of this country and an envoy who speaks like the US ambassodor to India. But we are a great nation. We will prevail!!!!

Deal is pasted on the net. No question of misleading anyone. It has not happenned before. I am finding it most transparent way in which US & India has concluded a Deal. It is for the headless chicken to run around as they are not able to read and understand it.
There is no question of misleading if you can not read it and understand. Than you have to blame yourself.

It's all the more appalling that people are blind to a good deal & are viewing it through past prejudices. We will not remain a great nation if such obstructionists exist. With people like these we would still be living in caves

Remember the British also came as Traders and then Ruled us. US will come with Nuke power then with security to protect the reactors then their business men will control the complete economy. If they withdraw someday then what ??? They assure supply for one year after that what ??? With China and Pakistan around we need our security to be more stronger, also there are other means of power genetarion why not ask France or UK to provide Tidel generators 3 sides of India is covered with sea lot of things can be done there. If the IT coolies think that with US reactors coming here they will get chance to migrate to US Forget it, US is just self centric. Chek for what hapened in IRAQ who is responsible... Afganistan... Pakistan... Look at the past history of US foreign policy it clearly says US interest First... Think again US will not leave Pakistan at any cause... They need us more than we need USA, popwer resorces can be created from other countries as well why USA

Dear Lost Indian, Why even after 60 years of independence and having such a large and trained force, you are so insecure. Come out of this insecurity and take steps forward. Its not just US who is trading in India, Indians are also trading there so they might as well through us out for the fear that we can start ruling them?

India's dependence on US for its own defense would be suicidal for our country. I hope our govt and policy makers ensure that this does not happen.

India is very much in contact with Russia and defence purchases from Russia are not going Down as compared to past. Since India's defence budget is constantly going up, currently 100 Billion USD, so fresh increases are going to Israel.
Yes Israel has becomes India's largest armament supplier but that in no way reduces our purchases from Russia. They are on course.
If Barak missile is from Israel than Brahmos is from Russia.
Problem is Pakistan testing BABAR missile ( haerdly few weeks back and Babar is better than Bramos !! (in all aspects and has a range 200 miles higher than Bramos) Now question arises what and when next from India.
