the 123 agreement is very fair. before comenting about it, you must read it. The politicians are misleading the ignorant and hero worshipping crowd by going against it. India needs energy for development. The agreement doesn't bind us to US.
It is true that we should not depend on a single country for anything, whether it is USA or Russia or China. Just making a deal with a country does not mean that we are fully dependent on that country. Wehave saveral deals and pacts with many countries. This deal is for running our nuclear plants to generate energy. If we get it done without affecting our defense condition, then it is good.

Read the contents of the deal. Its like making indian economy solely depend on USA. READ it properly and in unbiased way. Do not get carried away by media particularly NDTV.
I am not sure why Manmohan has turned so much USA centric. Can we solely depnd upon USA for our progress ? USA's history and track record shows that USA might misuse total dependence on it. Moreover, Indians seem to have forgotten that defnse and diplomacy always come before economy. Our approach towards defense is totally lackdiasical. This is same Manmohan Singh who had continously reduced budget on defense when he was finance minister. Even now , he appears least bothered about India's defense ne
123 agreement can seriously dent our defense preparedness because once our economy depends solely on one pillar, USA. We will not be able to go against USA , no matter how justified that stand might be . Depending country's economy on one nation is like supporting a buliding on one pillar . Now just imagine condtion of the bulding if one pillar cracks !
