ambassador ronen sesn's clarification .
by pradeep bordoloi on Aug 21, 2007 06:37 PM  Permalink

I smell a ret in the interview of aziz haniffa with ambassador sen with ulterior motive to discredit the ambassador who has taken importent part in negotiation of indo-us nuclear deal and to embarass the congress party with the ultimate aim of assisting the communists ,opposition parties and certain religio social section of the world who does not want to see india strong and hates usa for obvious rreason .this can be only be termed as shameless exploitation of media power for negative publicity

Ambassador, resign
by P Zipk on Aug 21, 2007 06:36 PM  Permalink

Mr. Ambaasador you must understand your role as an Ambassador. You represent India and you cannot critisize parlimentarians because they do not agree with your views. That is not your job. If you want to critisize, resign, go back and then you can do what ever the hell you want.

Why don't call thos who do not agree with you as unpatriotic. Did you learn this behavior from the Bush administration?

Ronen Sen's clarifications
by Unni on Aug 21, 2007 06:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

While occupying an important position he shud not have made such remarks whether on his personal capacity or on official capacity. An Ambassador is an ambassador whether he is at home or in the office or in the press club. Now such a clarification have no meaning. It is unfortunate that in the name of freedom of speech, anyone can bark at any one and escape in the name of personal views; such double standards shud not be allowed at least to people occupying such importatt position. The dignity of the Nation is at stake.
