who exactly are these Left ?
by Gumpy on Aug 21, 2007 07:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Friends, who are these left that are opposing the Nuke deal - lets get to some history about them..
1. These left are the same people who had got several Indian freedom fighter arrested during World War 2, 1945-46, at Soviet Russia's instance.
2. these Left are the very same people who has taken China's side when 1962 Indo-Chinese war broke out. They even riased fund for Chinese soldiers in India.
3. They had called respected freedom fighetr Netaji Subhas Bose "DOG."
4. Today they want to stop the Nuke deal the the instance of China's Communist party.
Can we Indians trust these very same Left with India's national interest ? Think yourself after carefully going thru history.

ronen is serving India
by Senthil Kumar on Aug 21, 2007 07:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I feel this person become the ambassador for India laggin even common sense. Recall Mr. Vajpayee appreciated Nehru during his visit to other countries, but Vajapyee and his party is the biggest critic of Nehru. The reason is when you are out of country, we should respect our country men, party irrespective of our own opinion. But these man used all nonsense words, in nonsense words do you have anything personal - off the record? bad is bad whether is on the record or off the record, it is immaterial!

he said - lack of self respect even after 60 years - this is unacceptable - showing arrogance of power!

The fundamental thing in foreign policy is "America never did anything good for any country at any time"

what is wrong while calling a rascal a rascal. are not the politicians playing dirty politics with the nuclear deal? do they deserve to be called "honorable"?
they deserve adjectives like rascal and motherfukker. they are literally raping their motherland.

Relationships are more imp than Rules
by Aninda Bose on Aug 21, 2007 06:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Quite a funny statement by Aziz to defend his back. I am a reporter and I have friends, initially they used to say - Hey! this is off the record and I used to pay heed to that. Over a period of time, like any sane human I do know that certain things they say are obviously a personal perspective and not for print.
Rather, sometimes my celebrity friends specify it "This is on record".
Rediff does not want to be hounded now by powerful politicians in power, so the best to do is say "Hey I stated facts and no caveats were specified.".

Sitting in India the commies acting against India, I think this Ronen Sen could have used a better severe words. Ronen Sen should be punished for using less severe words. He should not repeat these kind of mistakes in the past.

Ronen Sen is absolutly correct..as this is not a agreement on village level, ..there are certain responcibilty at such a higher level..as well as such a sensitive issue.

It is our bad luck that a party like Left--CPI CPM, get all the time some considerable seats in Parliament..and they interrupt the talk with USA/UK for Muslim vote bank...

They are bloody people and they have no right to sit in Parliament....I hope this time people form West Bengal and Kerla will never ellect them....

Yes, it is...but the thing is Govt. should disclosed all the aspect of the deal in parliament..a healthy discussion is required for a healty democratic country...it is ovious that Left & BJP are opposing the deal only to get some political mileage..Govt should share the detail any agreement which is in intrest of antion...
